Logitech has teamed up with ZAGG to launch the new iPad 2 Keyboard Case. It’s basically a re-branded version of ZAGG’s ZAGGmate. It doubles as a protective case and will quickly convert to hold your iPad 2 either horizontally or vertically while you type away.

The device weighs 12.8 ounces and also packs in a 510mAh battery, which the company claims is good for “several weeks” of normal use without charging. You also get a Quickstart guide, four optional rubber feet and a micoUSB cable for charging. It will cost you $100.

It’s a constant battle to keep our gadgets shiny and new looking and protect them from scratches. So we use protective covers that hopefully look good. If you like baseball or football and want to protect your iPhone or iPad from scratches, Zagg has some cool covers that fit the bill.

The Zagg sportLEATHER collection are sized for the iPhone 3G/3GS, the iPhone 4, and the iPad. They come in a design that looks like a white leather baseball with the grain and the red stitching. The other design has the look of a football with white laces.

I have talked before about the ZAGG invisibleSHIELD protective films. I have used these films on all of my iPhones since the device launched and it does a great job of protecting the screen and body of the phone without having to worry about scratches.

The only downside to the film is that the extra grip it gives the body of the iPhone makes it hard to use the device in a case that fits snugly. ZAGG has announced that it has the film available for the iPhone 4.

I have used several ZAGG products over the years to protect my notebook and smartphones. The company makes a line of protective films that prevent scratches on your gadgets that work great. ZAGG has now announced its first external battery called the ZAGGsparq.

The ZAGGsparq is a small 3.5 x 3.5 x 1 inch external battery pack. Inside the case is a 6000mAh lithium polymer battery that can recharge up to four iPhones fully. The battery has dual USB ports for charging two devices at once.

ZAGG has announced that the ZAGGbox is available for pre-order for $799. While it isn’t on the cheap end, that price includes some nice features, like simultaneous transcoding of captured video for viewing on both your TV and the mobile device. And it comes with its own iPhone app.

You’ll also get 1TB of storage, a wide range of A/V inputs and outputs, 802.11n WiFi, and Slingbox-like streaming to any device, anywhere.

I mentioned the Zaggbox media player back in late October 2009. At the time we didn’t have many details on the machine other than it was going to debut at CES 2010 and would be about $1000. Zagg has gone official now with the device and is giving up the goods.

The ZAGGbox is packed with connectivity for connecting to local TVs. It is also designed to stream media to smartphones via UPnP, video Podcasting or a built-in web server. The device will launch along with an iPhone app as well for streaming content.

You may recognize the ZAGG name as the company who offers the full line of invisibleSHIELD protective films for notebooks and mobile phones. The film is fantastic and keeps your gadgets from getting scratched and marred. ZAGG has announced some details on a new product that is coming next year called the ZAGGbox.

The device serves several functions including storing, recording, and playing media. It can transcode video to a version for TV and for the iPod or iPhone at the same time. The device has a universal remote and can control other devices with an IR blaster.

I am familiar with the company ZAGG. It makes some interesting products like the InvisibleSHIELD film that is laser cut to exactly fit gadgets of all sorts form Mac notebooks and the iPhone to various Blackberry devices. In fact, I use their film to protect the screen and body of my iPhone and it works great.

ZAGG has announced a new line of products called ZAGGaudio and the first product from the line is the Z.buds earphones. The earphones retail for $79.99 and feature a microphone built-in to allow users to place and receive phone calls.

The company Zagg is pretty well known for invisibleShield, its tough film protective layer which covers portable electronics. It is introducing some new layers this week targeted at the newly released iPod nano, touch and classic.

Zagg’s invisibleShield, according to the company, “is made from a patented adhesive film exclusive to the company.” It is said to have been “originally utilized by the U.S. military to protect helicopter blades from wind, sand and the wear and tear of high-speed travel.” It is 0.2mm thick and custom cut to match specifics of each iPod model.

Back when the original iPhone launched I was upset that a few short weeks after I got my phone it had scratches all over it. To keep this from getting any worse I got my hands on a product from Zagg called invisibleSHIELD. The stuff is made from a super strong and invisible film the military uses to protect the blades of helicopters from scratches and nicks.

Zagg cuts the stuff to the exact fit for the iPhone and has for the last three weeks been offering pre-order kits that protect the screen and body of the iPhone 3G. Zagg says that so far it has had 50,000 orders for the iPhone 3G kit.
