nVidia 3D Vision Wired Glasses

Posted in 3D by Conner Flynn on May 30th, 2011

nVidia has introduced a new wired version of its 3D Vision glasses at Computex 2011. These 3D glasses use nVidia’s active-shutter technology, which allow users to play computer games and movies in stereoscopic 3D.

All you do is connect these glasses to your PC via the 10-foot-long USB 2.0 cable and you are good to go. If you prefer wires to wireless, the nVidia 3D Vision wired glasses will be available in late June.

Bad news for some Apple fans. Apple has discontinued their Compact Wired Keyboard. The part number for the keyboard is MB869LL/A and it has been removed from Apple’s store. However, you can still purchase the Apple Compact Wired Keyboard on Amazon for $49.99 if you really want one.

This keyboard features a compact design of the Apple Wireless Keyboard along with a few USB 2.0 ports. The wired numberpad version is still available.

Wired Optical Ring Mouse

Wired Optical Ring Mouse
The Wired Optical Ring Mouse looks like it would be impossibly frustrating to use at first, but after thinking about it for a few seconds, it just might be ingenious.

Just slip it over your finger, move the tiny trackball with your thumb and watch as you navigate your way around the page like a professional. I think it’s supposed to slip on your ring finger, hence the name. That way, it should be easy to manipulate the buttons with your thumb as well. It only costs £14.99.
