New MacBook unibody available todayApple has a new unibody MacBook, which is basically a glossy white version of the familiar 13-inch MacBook Pro and it’s in stores today for $999. The new plastic casing is built in the same way as the aluminum MacBook Pros. This 13-incher features an LED-backlit display, new glass multitouch trackpad, and a built-in 7 hour battery.

Some other features include a 2.26GHz Core 2 Duo, 2GB of RAM (8GB max), an NVIDIA 9400M GPU, 250GB hard drive and SuperDrive. And yes it looks just like all of the other MacBooks. We were kinda hoping for some new design.

BlackBerry Bold in white

BlackBerry Bold in whiteYou knew it had to happen eventually. RIM has just outed the new BlackBerry Bold in white, with a white leather back. It will arrive on AT&T for $200 on October 18th. We aren’t sure why they would re-color the Bold with the Bold 2 apparently coming soon, but they have some sort of strategy it seems.

It will be here just in time for a white Christmas. It’s also the perfect BB for a white wedding. It’s up to you to decide if its tacky or cool in white. We are undecided.

Dell Studio XPS 13 and 16 now in white

Dell Studio XPS 13 and 16 now in whiteThe color of a device may not be the biggest factor that you consider when contemplating a purchase, but it’s always nice to know that you have options when it comes to buying a Dell XPS. At least your Wii won’t be so lonely now.

They dropped white from the XPS line a long time ago, but here it is it back, with “Arctic White High Gloss”. The option will cost you $40 on either the XPS 13 or 16. We have to admit, it looks good in white. But let’s face it, you could get an extra 1GB of DDR3 RAM instead for that price.

White PSP Assasin’s Creed Bloodlines bundle, $199

White PSP Assasin's Creed Bloodlines bundle, $199Check this out. Apparently UMD isn’t dead just yet. Cold and possibly maggot ridden, but not quite dead. Sony just let loose some details on the Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines PSP Entertainment Pack. You’ll get the ghostly white PSP-3000 and 2GB Memory Stick PRO Duo, plus an unnamed feature film on UMD. For $199.

Weird huh? Even with the PSPgo, Sony is still trying to unload movies on UMD. The proprietary format that no one wants or supports. Will they ever learn? What are they thinking?

White PS3 Dual Shock 3 surfaces in US

White PS3 Dual Shock 3 surfaces in USSomething interesting happened at a Walmart in Florida. A white Dual Shock 3 controller for the PS3 seems to have surfaced. It’s possible that it may be announced sometime later this year. Possibly at E3. So far, this color is only available in Japan, but does a white Dual Shock sighting mean a release in either North America or Canada?

Sony has responded and denied the existence of the white controller as well as plans for releasing it Stateside in a color that is not black. Maybe some guy just spray painted one and re-boxed it.

The all-white Apple keyboard

The all-white Apple keyboardIt may come as a shock to some Apple fanboys, but not everyone likes the look of the Apple keyboard. Some people may prefer something a bit more minimalist. Like plain white. That’s what Essell likes and so he decided to spray it white. Which, surprisingly looks pretty awesome.

If Apple keyboards went to heaven, this is what they would look like for sure. They would probably be floating like clouds and land under your fingertips when needed. I think I might have problems typing on this though. This guy is obviously a far better typer than I am.

White Pentax K2000 available for pre-orderPentax’s Storm Trooper approved white and black K2000 DSLR isn’t for everybody, but it will make you stand out from the crowd. The camera, and both 18-55mm and 50-200mm lenses, is now available for pre-order direct from Pentax.

Best of all, is the price. Only $679.95, which is much less than we thought it would cost. It won’t ship until mid-February, but if you’re looking for a camera that matches your Stormtrooper armor, it’s worth the wait.

Retroreflective vinyl turns stuff from black to white

Retroreflective vinyl turns stuff from black to whiteHere’s a great idea. If you ride your bike at night, hopefully you have reflectors attached so cars can see you and you don’t get ran over. Thing is, there is now a better type of reflector for your bike, as in making the entire bike a reflector. Did I mention that it’s invisible?

Impossible you say? Not anymore. It’s made possible by retroreflective vinyl. The material looks black under normal light, but turns completely and utterly white and reflective when a bright light, like headlights shines on it. It also gives you a two-color chameleon-like bike. You can actually buy it and do it to your own bike.

T-Mobile G1 now available in wintry whiteWe had word that it’s been showing up in mailboxes and in stores for a few days, but T-Mobile has just officially stated that the G1 is now available in white. So, now you have a snowy wintry choice along with the bronze and plain black. The price, hardware, and software remain the same. It’s just white. Vanilla if you will. Think a minty cool breeze white. HTC Touch Diamond Comes In White

Posted in Mobile Phones by Conner Flynn on September 16th, 2008

HTC Touch Diamond Comes In WhiteThe HTC Touch Diamond just got a new color, and it will be available in white. That’s right. The most boring device color known to man. The eternal white limbo that the Wii is damned to walk the Earth wearing. The new color will be available on store shelves this October, but other than the color change, everything beneath the hood is the same. Will it remain white or is the quality such that it will turn yellow after a few years? I have no idea, but I’m sure most of you want neither white nor yellow. Colorware to the rescue!
