BucketVac turns 5 gallon buckets into Wet/Dry VacsHere’s a great way to clean up all of your wet and dry messes around the shop or garage, without having to have a dedicated wet/dry vac taking up unnecessary space. The BucketVac snaps on to just about any standard 5 gallon bucket and turns it into a receptacle for all of your messes.

The vacuum weighs about 7 pounds and has a “commercial grade serviceable motor.” If you have some spare buckets and have nothing to do with them, the BucketVac should hit store shelves sometime before the end of the 4Q of 2009.

Nanotech material never gets wet, even when submerged

Nanotech material never gets wet, even when submergedNanotechnology strikes again, making technology seem like magic. Chemists from the University of Zurich have developed a new fabric that never gets wet. Never. Not even when completely submerged in water for two months. Nope. Not wet yet. The fabric is made of polyester fibers that are covered in a layer of 40-nanometer-wide silicone nanofilaments.

The nanofilaments are spiky and this causes the water to sit in a sphere above the fabric, while a permanent pocket of air is protected below. Think self-cleaning clothing, or truly spill resistant furniture. Another plus is that it reduces drag in water by 20%. So Michael Phelps better get himself a new swimsuit or be beaten by it.

Waterproof PSP bath bag will make you wrinkly

Waterproof PSP bath bag will make you wrinkly
Possibly one of the most ridiculous things I’ve seen in quite some time, this is basically a fancy ziplock bag. A fancy ziplock bag that keeps your PSP dry so you can play it while taking a bath and getting all wrinkly.

I’m not sure why they are trying to sell you a sandwich bag that you can get anywhere. Then again, this one has that fancy drawstring at the top. Why not just put the PSP down long enough to get in the water and actually get clean with some soap. Your friends and loved ones will thank you.
