If you are seriously a weather nut, you’ll want to check out the Ambient Weather WS-1090 Wireless Home Weather Station. It’s a compact, easy to install, complete wireless (915 MHz) home weather station with impressive reliability at a low cost.

The WS-1080 weather station will measure wind speed, wind direction, temperature and humidity (both inside and outside), rainfall and barometric pressure. It also calculates dew point and wind chill. What doesn’t it do? The device features a touchscreen console that displays a wide range of parameters in an easy-to-read format. This is basically a weather man in a box. It can be placed on a desktop or mounted onto a wall.

The Magic Weather Forecaster from Oregon Scientific is perfect if you need to know what’s going on with the weather. The gadget features weather icons built into see through glass, making it look a tad different. The Magic Weather Forecaster also displays the current time, ambient temperature and of course weather reports on its LCD screen.

The device has a light sensor that automatically adjusts the screen’s brightness so you can always see it no matter the lighting. The Oregon Scientific Magic Weather Forecaster will cost you $204.
