When the Watchmen movie came out a few months ago, I rushed to the theater to see it. After watching a few minutes of blue wanger flapping around on screen I decided that the film wasn’t for me. Hopefully the video game will have less smurfy penis as part of the plot line. A powerful superhero should be able to afford underwear.

Warner Brothers has announced a new hybrid offering for the PS3. A single disc will offer fans of the franchise the Watchmen film and the Watchmen: The End is Neigh video game based on the film. The film itself will be a HD Blu-ray title.

Looking for something a bit different in an Xbox 360? How about this Watchmen themed console? The Fresno Beehive is giving it away.

The new movie Watchmen launched last Friday and it looks cool. The movie follows a group of super heroes and the product tie-ins include video games. The iPhone and iPod touch are getting a game based on the movie that is available now.

The game is called Watchmen: Justice is Coming and justice is cheap too at under a buck on the App store. The game offers 3D graphics and is a MMORPG title that lets players fight in a virtual New York City of the 1970′s.
