Black Friday is this week and shoppers are already gearing up to storm retail stores early to get the best deals before they sell out. Two GPS from TomTom are being offered at Walmart including the TomTom One 125 SE and the TomTom XL 325 SE.

The units have many of the same features including TomTom Map Share technology, 30-day maps guarantee, Help Me menu and both are ready for optional services like traffic and fuel prices. The two differ in screen size with the 125 SE using a 3.5-inch touchscreen and the 325 SE offering a 4.3-inch touchscreen.

It ain’t easy getting all of the cool toys you want in this economy. But Walmart aims to make it a little easier if you’ve been waiting to get a BlackBerry 9700 on Monday. The outfit is currently running a promotion from November 14th to the 20th where you’ll get a $100 Walmart gift card with every BlackBerry purchase.

No, it isn’t actual cash and it will take 4 to 6 weeks to get the card, but it’s still a sweet deal. And it’s as close as you’ll come to getting the BlackBerry 9700 for $99.99. Just be aware that the 2-year T-Mobile contract still applies. Consider it an early Christmas gift.

So you’ve put off that purchase of a Blackberry, right? You’ve been waiting for a deal. Well, don’t wait any longer than next week. That’s when Walmart shoppers will be given a $100 gift card if they purchase nearly any BlackBerry phone on a 2-year contract from AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile or Verizon Wireless.

The offer starts at 8AM local time this Saturday and is in effect through November 20th.

Rumors have been swirling for the past couple of days, and it looks like the rumors were real. This weekend, Walmart is kicking off their pre-Black Friday deals, including a $199 Xbox 360 Arcade that comes with a free $100 gift card. That basically drops the price to $100.

The Palm Pre just keeps getting better doesn’t it? Hot on the heels of showing up on Amazon for $99, Walmart is selling the Pre for $79.99.

That’s on contract and with mail-in rebate. Not great news for those of you who dropped $200 a few months ago though. If you’ve been waiting on a deal for the Palm Pre, this is it. It won’t get much cheaper. We think.

If you thought you could count on Amazon keeping the price of their MP3s under the $1 price point after Apple introduced variable pricing to their tunes, think again. And disregard the comparison above. Sorry to dash your hopes and pour salt in your music-loving wounds, but Amazon has decided to go the same route.

They meet the $1.29 price point on iTunes, at least where tracks by popular artists are concerned. Walmart however, throws all caution to the wind and rolls back the price to $1.24 for selected titles. If you like songs that nobody else likes you’ll pay $0.79 and $0.64 on Amazon and Walmart.

Last weekend may have been rough on football fans that have spent the last few months feasting on the glut of weekend football games. The last big game for the season will be played next weekend and it’s the big game — the Super Bowl.

The Super Bowl is a big deal to many sports fans and means that each year many football fans go all out on parties to watch the big game. Usually these parties center on lots of food and a big screen TV to watch the action.

Today the iPhone arrived at that place where workers get trampled by angry Black Friday crowds. There’s bad news and there’s more bad news. The bad news is that you can probably still get trampled by an angry mob in search of rolled back prices. The other bad news is that rumors of a $99 Wal-Mart iPhone were incorrect.

Wal-Mart will sell the iPhone for only $2 less than the regular price with a two-year contract: $197 for the 8 GB model, or $297 for the 16GB model. The ad should read “Save just a little money. Live just a tad better.”

Rumors that Walmart would begin selling the iPhone soon have been around for a few days and we now have an answer thanks to Bloomberg. Yes, you’ll be able to get an iPhone at Walmart, and probably by Christmas. Store representatives at several locations confirmed that employees are being trained to sell the handset, which will hit shelves by the end of the month. This makes Walmart the second retail chain to sell the iPhone, and also the largest.

Any truth to the whole $99 4GB model deal? That isn’t confirmed, and is looking unlikely. The $99 iPhone will probably happen eventually according to some, but others claim that a Bentonville, Arkansas location will sell the 4GB model as well as the 8GB and 16GB versions, which have been confirmed at their normal $199 and $299 prices.

So, you’ve been waiting for the iPhone to hit Walmart, so you can stock up on paper towels, buy a DVD and throw an iPhone in your squeaky cart all at once. Well you’re in luck assuming you didn’t get killed by greedy shoppers during black Friday. Looks like Apple will begin selling the iPhone at Wal-Marts on December 28th.

Wal-Mart employees are apparently already receiving training on iPhone activation. Today Boy Genius Report claims that Apple may be reintroducing the 4GB iPhone to be sold at Wal-Mart for only $99 with a two year contract. They aren’t completely confident about the report, so it should be taken with a grain of salt. However, the Walmart training materials pictured above have been seen so that suggests there is some truth to it.

Those brave enough to venture into stores Friday were able to get their hands on some great electronics deals. Today is Cyber Monday when deals are offered by many retailers online. If you have an Xbox 360 on your shopping list to give to a loved one, Walmart has a deal for you.

Walmart is offering an Xbox 360 bundle today that includes an Xbox 360 Arcade console, Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock Game, Guitar Hero World Tour game, and a Wireless Gibson Les Paul controller. Other games are included in the bundle too like Sega Super Star Tennis, and five arcade games including Luxor 2 and Pac-Man.

According to Dow Jones, as of tomorrow, Walmart will be the cheapest place to buy the T-Mobile G1. Over 550 Walmart stores will begin selling the G1 tomorrow for $148.88 to new T-Mobile customers, or those eligible for an upgrade, with the usual two-year contract. That’s a savings of $31.11 at Wal-Mart as opposed to buying through T-Mobile, which sells the device for $179.99.

The Magnavox and Sylvania branded Funai NB500 Blu-ray players have been spotted at Walmart. A number of Walmarts apparently. The NB500 is a Profile 1.1 Blu-ray player and is priced at a fairly reasonable $298. It’s got HDMI version 1.3, HD audio codec’s, and DVD upscaling.

Yes, these are low end players, and already somehow outdated, but the price being what it is, it’s going to get it’s share of buyers. We’re not really sure what you can expect performance-wise, but if any of you brave souls should buy one, do let us know in comments.

You might have heard about the bizarre Guitar Hero lawsuit from Gibson against Activision. They’re claiming that Guitar Hero titles violate one of their patents. Now they have suddenly seemingly gone ballistic, suing everyone in site. Wal-Mart, Target, GameStop, Amazon, Toys ‘R’ Us and Kmart.

They want the game off the shelves. I guess they don’t like making money. Gibson says that it took “this action reluctantly, but is required to protect its intellectual property.” Retailers will only say “we aren’t commenting,”.
