Dell has updated its Vostro laptop line up with four new models which include: the Dell Vostro 3300, 3400, 3500, and 3700. All models have an aluminum case with three color choices available. The Dell Vostro 3300, Vostro 3400, and 3500 feature a 13.3-inch, 14-inch, and 15.6-inch LED backlit display. They pack an Intel Core i3/i5 processor with up to 8GB DDR3 memory, a 500GB hard drive, 512MB nVidia Geforce 310M graphics, a DVD burner, a 2.0MP webcam, fingerprint reader and Windows 7.

The Vostro 3700 has a 17.3-inch display, Intel’s Core i7 quad-core processor and 1GB nVidia Geforce GT330M graphics.

The world of business computers used to mean boxy beige machines with no style that were built with the lowest cost components you could get to make the cheap bosses happy. Today even the lower cost business desktops are getting at least a semblance of style. Take the new Dell Vostro 430 unveiled today.

The machine won’t be winning any beauty contests, but it is an attractive computer that would look good in an office. On top of being attractive, the machine also has some power inside and starts at a reasonable $699. You can get versions with Intel Core i5 or Core i7 CPUs and graphics from ATI or NVIDA.

We’ve seen the new Dell Vostro All-in-One PC, but now Dell has added three new laptops to its Vostro line in the form of the Dell Vostro 1014, 1015 and 1088.

These laptops come with either a 14.6 inch or a 15.6 inch screen, Intel Core 2 processors, improved battery life with WLED LCD displays, plus your choice of up to 4GB of RAM and a 320GB hard drive. The new models also include an optional 2.0 megapixel web camera, and a 5-in-1 card reader.

Remember the Dell Vostro? The all-in-one was already released in China and Japan, giving users a 19″ display and VESA mounting compatibility for wall-mounts or an accessory arm-stand. Now it’s shipping to the North American continent.

The base model features a 2.6GHz Pentium dual-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive, Windows Vista and an integrated DVD player. Some other features are a 1.3-megapixel integrated webcam for video chats, a gigabit Ethernet connection, standard WiFi, and an integrated GMA X4500 graphics processor.

Lately when I see a new computer it tends to be a netbook or a new all-in-one machine. All-in-ones are really cool and I like the space-saving features that they offer. I hope that one day they will offer a gaming rig that is an all-in-one design then I can lose that massive tower beside my desk.

Dell has announced a new all-in-one for business users called the Vostro All-in-one that is set to launch in August. Dell offers up a few of the specifications for the machine, but many specs are still unknown. The rig will have various Intel Core 2 Duo processor options.

Business users are typically more demanding of their notebooks than normal consumers. Business users tend to want portability, power and pretty much everything else. The boss approving the orders wants all that stuff too, but at a cheap price.

Dell says it has listened to its business customers and delivered everything they want with its new Vostro 1310 and 1510 notebooks. The 1310 notebook has a 13.3-inch screen and the 1510 is a 15.4-inch notebook. Dell says that the 13.3-inch Vostro has 94% of the viewing area of the 14.1-inch Vostro, but weighs 20% less.
