Panasonic unveils VIERA tablets |
There are so many tablets, which one do you choose? Panasonic is hoping you choose theirs and they have several of them on show at CES. They have unveiled a new line of tablets under the VIERA brand, which is normally associated with its TVs.
It’s described as a tablet-type terminal and is designed to be a secondary display for your pictures and data related to the programs that you’re watching on your Panasonic VIERA TV. These tablets come in 4-, 7- and 10-inch sizes and feature a shock resistant design and a long battery life. The VIERA tablet is launching in Japan today. No info on pricing yet though.

Panasonic Japan has announced two new plasma HDTVs, the 65-inch TH-P65V1 and the 58-inch TH-P58V1. Both feature Panasonic’s latest neoPDP panel technology with a contrast ratio of 40,000:1, along with the usual VIERACast streaming media and internet widgets. Both also feature an SD/SDHC card slot so you can play back video, pictures and music, even AVCHD footage directly from an HD camcorder.
When you think about Panasonic’s line of Viera TVs, what comes to mind? Probably a large HDTV hanging on a wall right? Me too, but the latest Vieras from Panasonic come in a tiny form factor. I’m talking a screen size of just 4.3″.
