The stadium here in Texas where the Dallas Cowboys play football has a massive video wall hanging from the ceiling of the stadium. The idea is to let everyone be able to see what is going on the field even if they have bad seats. NASCA fans that watch at Charlotte Motor Speedway next year will be able to see the world’s largest video wall.

The new wall will be used to show race coverage, leader boards, and other interactive entertainment at the track. The massive screen will be placed between turns two and three on the track. The video wall will be 200-feet wide, 80-feet tall, and will weigh 165,000 pounds.

samsungthinbezel-sbAnyone who has tried to use multiple monitors for watching video or playing PC games knows that the bezel around the screens causes a big problem. On your average computer monitor that means about an inch gap between the two screens and you lose images right in front of your face.

Samsung has announced new large format monitors for applications like video walls that offer the world’s narrowest bezel technology. The new monitors include the 460UT, 460UTn, and the 460UTn-UD. The screens all have the same bezel size with a thickness of 2.4mm on the right and bottom and 4.3mm on the left and top for a total thickness when joined of 7.3mm.
