Vertu Constellation F Ayxta clamshell gets official |
The Vertu Constellation F Ayxta clamshell is official now and it will sell for €4,900 ($7,198) and €6,500 ($9,548). This one boasts aerospace grade aluminum parts. You can also expect GPS, 3G, MicroSD card support, 3MP camera with dual LED flash, and City Brief; a feature for “restaurant recommendations, the latest exhibitions, shopping guides and important cultural etiquette tips.”
This Vertu clamshell also ships with some exclusive ringtones recorded by UK based band Zero 7. Pretty impressive for a clamshell. And at those prices it had better be.

The Vertu Ascent Ti Damascus Steel was apparently developed by relying on “ancient steel forging” techniques. The kind used throughout the centuries to make Samurai swords. This results in the metal being harder. The specs aren’t exactly mind blowing, with a QVGA display, S40 user interface, GSM/UMTS connectivity, a 3.2-megapixel camera with LED flash and 4GB of internal memory.
Knockoff phones must be pretty profitable for those who knock them off. After all, they just keep coming. This one is an oddball because there is no such thing as a Vertu Lamborghini phone, making this clone something of an “original”.
The Wynn is one of those super luxurious hotels along the Strip at Las Vegas, so of course they host a whole bunch of high-end items such as exotic cars, designer clothes and expensive phones. The Vertu shop there is currently displaying it’s latest luxury cell phone, the Vertu Signature Dragon. Just like the Vertu Signature Cobra, the Dragon is not yet featured on the company’s website.
