Blackberry Storm 9530 pricing revealed from Verizon WirelessFinally we are getting some solid-looking information on the pricing for the BlackBerry Storm coming soon from Verizon Wireless. Rumors have been flying about pricing being under $200 to keep it competitive with the iPhone and possibly even offering the device for near-free to try and swing some of the smartphone market back to RIM.

As of now the testman site for Verizon is showing the BlackBerry 9530 Storm smartphone priced at $219.99 with a 2-year contract, and at $519.99 if you wanted to buy one outright. $289.99 will get you into the phone with a 1-year contract through Verizon, as well.

Samung lets Verizon Sway to new mobile

Verizon Wireless today unveiled a new slim slider phone designed for them by Samsung. It is called the Samsung Sway and you’ll find it pricing around $70 after rebate and contract.

The Samsung Sway offers your typical array of media and lifestyle features to make it more than just a mobile. It includes being a MP3 player which can be loaded with music via a USB cable, a 2.0-megapixel digital camera with video recording and digital zoom and Bluetooth support.

Verizon recently slipped a new mobile phone into its line up with no fanfare which targets messaging hounds. It is called the Blitz and pricing is around $70 after discounts and such.

The Verizon Wireless Blitz offers up a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and compact design. The screen size is 2.2-inches while the built-in digital camera is 1.3-megapixels and can be accessed with a dedicated camera key. Other features include a hands-free speakerphone, a built-in music player, Bluetooth support and expandable memory up to 4GB via a microSD memory card slot.

Verizon Wireless has decided two of its more popular  BlackBerry smartphones are deserving of a new body color as college students get ready to return to school this fall. The cell phone company is unveiling pink versions of the BlackBerry Curve 8330 and BlackBerry Pearl 8130, priced at around $100 and $80, respectively.

Verizon had this to say about the features of these two phones: “The BlackBerry Curve 8330 is the smallest and lightest full-QWERTY BlackBerry smartphone, which makes the handset a natural fit for fashion-savvy students who need to manage their responsibilities at school, while staying connected to their family and friends. Additionally, students traveling off campus can take advantage of Verizon Wireless’ VZ Navigator(SM) service on their BlackBerry Curve to access maps, audible turn-by-turn navigation and information on more than 14 million points of interest.

Verizon Wireless, following up on its announcement of some hot new mobile phones last month, said today the LG Chocolate 3 would be available shortly. This particular cell phone will price around $130 after rebate and two-year contract.

The LG Chocolate 3, said Verizon, has among its key features a new flip form factor, enhanced music subscription capabilities, a built-in FM transmitter and 2-megapixel digital camera and camcorder. It will be available in black or light blue body colors as well.

It is called the Nokia 6205 The Dark Knight edition and you’ll find it pricing around $70 after rebate and two-year contract.

The Nokia 6205 The Dark Knight is a themed-edition flip phone set in black and embellished with a subtle The Dark Knight emblem. It comes pre-loaded with wallpapers, voice tones, animated screensavers inspired by the film, and a full movie trailer.

Verizon announces three new tasty LG mobiles

LG DecoyVerizon Wireless is out today with three new innovative LG phones which should do some fun shaking up of the cellular provider’s line up when they debut in the next month or so. They are the LG Dare, LG Decoy (pictured) and LG Chocolate 3.

The phones, said Verizon, will offer their customers “touch-screens, music and more.” We’ve put after the jump the snippets of the Verizon press release which briefly detail the new models.

It’s now only a week into May and Verizon is already showing the Curve available on their site, priced at $219.99 with a two year contract and $100 online discount. This model doesn’t have the Wi-Fi or the pale gold color like we’ve seen at T-Mobile, but also comes a little bit cheaper.

Verizon announced today that it is getting its very own BlackBerry Curve in May. The Verizon Curve will be in a liquid silver color with chrome accents. The curve will also be compatible with Verizon’s EV-DO service and VZ Navigator.

It is targeted towards world travelers, supporting EV-DO/GPRS network connections and GSM/GPRS (900/1800 MHz). Verizon launches Palm Treo 755p smartphoneToday Verizon Wireless announced that they are adding the Palm Treo 755p to their lineup of Palm smartphones, coming in their own new color of deep blue-green. The Treo 755p runs on the Palm OS and uses Verizon’s EV-DO high speed network to support Direct Push email and Verizon’s Wireless Sync.

The smartphone also comes with a full QWERTY keyboard, 1.3 megapixel camera, mini-SD card slot, Pocket Tunes, Bluetooth support, Documents go Go for viewing Microsoft Office documents and PDFs. It supports editing Word and Excel files and comes with Google Maps for mobile ready to go out of the box. Verizon is pricing the 755p at $349.99 if you sign up for the two year contract, get an $100 online discount and get a $50 mail in rebate.

LG’s VCAST Phone Prices?

VX9400 VCAST mobile phoneThe rumor du jour is that LG is prepping to release its VX9400 handheld phone/TV on March 23. As we reported this past January, Verizon is soon to launch a service that allows for live television to be beamed and picked up by mobile phones.

Samsung is the other company with plans to release a phone, the u620, that works with the service, but we’ve been waiting to see what LG’s entry looks like in action especially since it has a neat looking pivot screen. According to a tipster that whispered in Engadget’s ear, LG will launch the VX9400 on the 23rd in the VCAST launch cities.
