Fruit and vegetable usb hubsCheck out these fruit and vegetables USB 2.0 hubs. They come from Dospara and each one has four USB 2.0 ports.

You have your pick between; mango, banana, peanut, a large or small eggplant, pepper or a carrot. Each one supports either Windows or Mac operating systems and is also backed by a two week warranty. For 499 Yen (or $5 each) you can have one or all to add a little pzazz to your work space. Maybe you could put them next to your grapes.

Duracell Extender adds memory card slots and more USB ports to your PS3 Slim

Posted in PS3 by Conner Flynn on May 31st, 2011

Were you feeling sad when the PS3 got slimmed down? It did lose a few USB ports and support for memory cards. Well, now Duracell is correcting this problem with the Duracell Extender. Just put it to the right of your PS3 and it will extend the console’s body, making it wider and giving you three additional USB ports, an SD and memory stick card slot, and a place to store two controllers.

Pretty cool. However, keep in mind that this unit requires it’s own power supply, which it draws from one of the PS3′s USB ports, so it is using up one port and gives you two additional USB ports. You can get it right now for about $80.

Lenovo 65W AC Adapter charges your laptop and provides extra USB ports

Posted in Lenovo by Conner Flynn on February 28th, 2011

We’ve all had to switch USB ports because charging your phone through your computer isn’t fast enough, but you need to connect your phone to your PC to transfer data. It’s a pain. Thankfully, Lenovo’s ThinkPad 65W AC Adapter with USB Hub is a good solution.

This AC Adaptor comes with 4 extra USB ports, one of which is always powered on as long as the adaptor is powered, so you can charge your device directly from the wall socket if you like. Just connect the Adaptor to your laptop’s USB port and power port so you won’t have to switch USB ports as long as it’s plugged to the “always on” port. Even when the laptop is off, it will keep charging.

These awesome retro robots are actually Robot USB Hubs. Each has four usb ports, one on each of their arms and legs. They also feature LED eyes which show you the power status when they’re connected. These USB Robots are available in six different colors and designs, like pink, red, black, light blue, gray and yellow.

They are only $18.95 each. They’re pretty cute. If you buy more then one, make sure they don’t start plotting your demise behind your back. I love robots, so I’ll be getting several of these myself.
