Digital photo frames are neat, but when you tire of displaying the same images, what can you do with it? Well, in this case you can use it as a USB monitor. The WIN ACCORD DF10411-13 10.4-inch digital photo frame doubles as a USB monitor for a notebook, thanks to EzDisplay software.

The device supports SD cards, MMC, Memory Stick readers and USB flash drives. Nothing on pricing or a release date yet, but we should know soon. Hopefully we will see it in the US.

Each time I use my netbook I think that it would be great if I had more screen space. The problem is that I am using my netbook for portability and a larger screen kills the portability. A second monitor to take with me when I am working from the netbook would be perfect.

The caveat again is that secondary screens are typically bulky and need a power outlet to work. MIMOMonitors has announced a new foldable mini-monitor for people who are on the go and need a lightweight and compact secondary screen.
