Some features include a 4.3-inch touch-color LCD display with a resolution of 480 x 272, ARM9 processor, a 1GB flash, 256MB SDRAM, a built-in speaker, microphone, WiFi, and Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R2. It’s more computer than remote and we like it that way.

Xsight Touch universal remote controlThere’s a new universal remote sheriff in town. The Xsight Touch makes a bold claim with that name(It’s exciting to touch apparently) and features a huge database of more than 3,300 unique brands and 285,000 individual codes.

All you need to do is point and press the button to select the type and brand of the product. Once you’ve got it setup, you can customize the settings for your activities and favorite channels. A touchscreen display and a slider bar make navigation easier. You can buy the Xsight Touch for about £147.

Universial Remote Control showcases new wireless keypad remote

Universal Remote Control KP-900Universal Remote Control has apparently put out new details and pricing about an upcoming wireless keypad-style remote. It is called the KP-900 and you’ll find it pricing around $500.

The KP-900 is attached to a wall bracket so you can easily find it. It is powered by four AAA batteries, according to Universal Remote Control, and functions in both the IR and RF control arenas. The LCD is backlit as well.
