If you thought the Lexus LF-A Crystalised Wind looked awesome, check this one out. This is a real car on display at the Tokyo Motor Show.
Looks like Lexus is working on invisibility, which insurance companies will be thrilled about. The Lexus LF-A Crystallised Wind was made of acrylic glass back in April at Milan’s Museo della Permanente art gallery. Your days of driving nude are officially over.


Check out Sony’s new thin-and-light VAIO X, but this is no ordinary VAIO X, it’s practically invisible. This guy made its debut at a press event in China today. A surprisingly transparent edition of the laptop. And before you ask, no you will likely never see this on store shelves.

Here’s something that I guarantee you haven’t seen on the road. A transparent Lexus. It’s pretty amazing to behold. It was born from a collaboration between Lexus and Japanese architect Huzimoto Takeshi. Were talking a true one-of-a-kind, now you see it now you don’t Lexus LF-A wearing a shell of transparent acrylic.
Looking for a pair of speakers to impress your friends with? These Kenwood SP0001 transparent speakers should do the trick. Maybe. I’m not sure. They’re cool, but something about them is very washer/dryer like. If you like transparent washers/dryers then this is gold.

Some things are good clear. Water, windows. Some things not so much. Wonder Woman’s plane comes to mind as well as this clear iPhone 3G case. We don’t have a problem with clear cases, but the guts inside have to look cool, otherwise what’s the point?
Check out this creative marketing campaign for Sony’s PSP gaming console. Have you seen one in your neighborhood? I’m guessing no, since this is actually a concept for a PSP campaign made by a fan. Samsung’s showing off at the FPD International 2008 show, with a 4-inch, ultra-thin 0.05-mm OLED with 480 x 272 pixel resolution, 100,000:1 contrast, 200cd/m2 brightness. So thin mind you, that it was displayed flapping in the wind. Then they showed off a transparent AMOLED display. The color reproduction range is 100% of the NTSC standard. Take that you other anorexic displays. In order to achieve this thickness, Samsung etched an OLED panel that uses a normal glass substrate. The drive circuit was made by low-temperature polysilicon TFTs.
