Omnio WOWKeys Keyboard uses your iPhone as a Trackpad

Posted in iPhone Accessories by Conner Flynn on November 8th, 2010

The WOWKeys keyboard merges the multi-touch capabilities of the iPhone with the PC. You can even use the keyboard to type on your iPhone. It allows you to do things like hit the switch and use the iPhone, via a App Store app, as a multi-touch touchpad.

If you are addicted to your iPhone, you will love this switching back and forth from your PC to your iPhone. The iPhone is sync’d and charged while in the slot in the WOWKeys. It has 15 function keys specifically for interacting with the iPhone. App designers can also craft new applications that further integrate your phone with your PC.

Wireless keyboard features multitouch Trackpad with Number PadThis wireless keyboard is from the future. It’s here to laugh at other keyboards that do not combine a multitouch trackpad with a ten-key number pad, which saves space and adds functionality. It’s available now for $69. Soon all keyboards will be like this.

The multitouch feature registers a series of two and three-finger presses for scrolling, zooming, window switching, tapping, and more. The entire keyboard is less than 3/4 of an inch thick and includes 18 hotkeys for launching various programs. The wireless USB adapter snaps into the bottom of the keyboard if you want to take it with you.

Sharp's Mebius PC-NJ70A with LCD trackpadIf you like secondary displays, Sharp has something you’ll like in their Japanese Mebius PC-NJ70A. The guts of this machine are pretty boring, but it does feature an interesting trackpad. An 854 x 480 resolution LCD, which automatically adjusts brightness depending on the surrounding light and can probably function as a secondary display.

Aside from that, this netbook is boring with a capital B. Some other features include a 10.1-inch display (1,024 x 600), 1.6GHz Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB HDD, three USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and a multicard reader.
