Check out these Mathmos Blob and Flow Touch Sensitive Light Pets. The eyes of the creature light up each time you touch it. Wanna wake up your pet? Just fondle it and it will wake up. You can also make it wink, go a little crazy or put it back to sleep.

They come in blue-eyed Blob and feisty Flow models and are powered by USB or through an adapter. Kinda cute, but also creepy. Those in the UK can pick one up for £35. But really, don’t you have anything better to do?

New iPhone to feature touch sensitive casing?

The rumors surrounding Apple’s new iPhone just won’t stop. The latest rumor suggests that Apple might have something in the works regarding the iPhone’s casing. It might be a touch-sensitive case, similar to the case that the Apple Magic Mouse has.

If true, this could change the device big time. It won’t be so great for those third-party iPhone protector casings, which would block the touch function.

Some features include an LED indicator in the shape of Starck’s sign that is projected onto the table, and the fact that the surface is touch sensitive, so you can assign actions to different kinds of touch. For instance, a tap will trigger the launch of an application, while a caress can start an automatic backup.
