Tokyo Flash Kisai Rogue SR2 Led Watch

Posted in Watches by Conner Flynn on June 21st, 2011

The latest watch from Tokyoflash is stylish as usual and as usual, confusing to read the time on it. It’s called the Kisai Rogue SR2 LCD. It displays the time through a circle of connecting blocks. The LCD display is always on and you can choose between 4 colors.

The watch has LED backlighting and is available for $179. It should be easy to read the time on this watch, once you know how to do it.

Tokyo Flash’s Changing Lanes watch

The latest watch from Tokyo Flash was inspired by taxis and other vehicles weaving through rush hour traffic. As usual, it a puzzle to figure out how to read the time on this one. The lights that are going down the left side of the watchface are the hours, with 1:00 being at the very top, and 6:00 at the bottom. The next ‘lane’ shows the hours of 7:00 to 12:00, starting from the bottom and going up.

Then on the right side you have the minutes, in three minute segments. 3 is at the top, and down the bottom is 27 minutes, while the lane to the left of the far-right increasing to 57 minutes at the north of the watch. Quarter-minutes, 15 and 45, are in the middle, and 2 minute intervals will light up separately. Frankly, I’m still confused.

Tokyo Flash Hexagon Watch

If bees wore watches this is what they would look like. Just looking at this watch, you know it’s from Tokyo Flash. But this Hexagonal watch isn’t real, it’s just a stunning concept. We hope that Tokyo Flash decides to make it real.

Telling the time on this thing is easy. The blue colored LEDS are the hours, five minute increments are purple and individual minutes are pink. So are you all buzzing about this watch? Sorry, bad joke. I’ll bee more careful in the future.

Scramble & Progression Tokyo Flash watches

Scramble & Progression Tokyo Flash watches
Japanese watch wizards Tokyoflash have announced two new amazing and as usual neat timepieces – Scramble and Progression, from the Nekura company. For once they aren’t hard to read, like many others. We’re really digging the sort of techno/biology look, similar to what you’ll find in any Metroid game.

Both watches feature full color LEDs embedded underneath the interface. Touch the upper button to illuminate the display with whatever color you choose (blue, green, cyan, red, pink or orange). The watches also sport a multi-color mode that cycles through all the colors, while they glow brightly to highlight the time. The price isn’t completely unreasonable at about $124.
