Toaster makes even your buns toasty, not a Hamster sauna

Toaster makes even your buns toasty, not a Hamster sauna
This toaster is different. The cage on top spins so that your buns can get perfectly toasted on all sides. Now, I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking that this would be the perfect spa type accessory for your hamster. That tubby furball could stand to lose a few pounds right? Wrong. It would kill him. It’s for toast, it’s not a Richard Simmons hamster treadmill, though I hear that’s available too.

Now that we have that out of the way, this toaster even has a few heating drawers that will keep slices of toast crisp and warm. Hopefully it’s available in more colors. I’d like to see it in chrome, while I watch my buns battle it out in a steel cage match to the death.

DT08 Slide Toaster looks like a toast MRI machine
We’ve seen plenty of examples of toasters here at the Brick. Could be that we love toast. Could be that toast is a bloggers best friend as it symbolizes crisp content and is all buttery and good.

Whatever the reason, we think this one looks like a toast MRI machine that will check it’s crust for tumors and the like. As far as toasters go, it actually looks futuristic. And when you can watch the process it’s just plain fun for the easily entertained. It’s a concept design from Daniel Thomas. I don’ know if he’s any relation to the English muffin guy, but it’s obviously is in the blood somewhere.

The Zuse toaster makes toast fun

The Zuse toaster makes toast fun
I’m not sure how fun toast is capable of being, but certainly it’s got to get better then pushing the lever and waiting for it to pop. The Zuse toaster works like a dot matrix printer for toast and will burn 12 x 12 pixel images onto your bread. It can be programmed for random patterns or you can use your own designs if you like.

It’s probably the first truly interactive toast and your mornings no longer have to be boring. Unfortunately, this is still in its concept stages. No doubt the designer is greedy and keeping all the fun for himself. But one day soon our toast will get an upgrade. Until then, toast will be as boring as it ever was.
