I’m sure everyone’s heard of this, the good ol’ Sound Activated LED Equalizer T-shirt. For those that have are out of the loop (don’t worry, it happens to us all sometimes), all you have to do is put this on your body, and music makes it lose control. Well, pending that you have 4 “AAA” batteries, that is.
This shirt is not for doing homework in, though. Unless by “homework” you mean gettin’ super duper crunk. The LEDs on the panel respond to particular frequencies (primarily bass hits), so it’s not exactly the most versatile equalizer. But I think that feature makes it more interesting, as when there are dramatic pauses in percussion, they are matched by the LEDs on the shirt. It’s hard to find this shirt for under 20-30 bucks, so I hope you appreciate that today Dillyeo is offering it for 15$, after shipping.

Robots have been busy this week, which is fitting since they are our slaves. When they are finished being busy with all the chores we give them, they’ll be busy wiping us off the face of the Earth. This week over at Botropolis we got to check out a Roomba’s chaotic path, saw one printing on the floor, and learned about a bot that asks for directions. Here’s some other stuff we covered.

It’s Friday. You know what that means. It’s time for our weekly robot roundup. It’s been a busy week over at Botropolis, as usual. Robots don’t take a break and neither do we. Rest assured, we will still be reporting on their exploits even as the bunker burns around us and cold metal fingers tighten around our necks. Until that day, we shall document their rise to power, fearing them, preparing, and checking out cool robot toys that distract us.

This Exploded Atari 2600 shirt is all kinds of awesome. It illustrates disassembly perfectly for any geek who thinks that the Atari 2600 is somehow full of tons of parts and hard to take apart.

We recommend wearing it while doing such mods as the Atari-Hero, or the Multari. You can’t have too many geek shirts after all. Even when you run out of drawer and closet space. That’s what your floor is for, right? It will only cost you $17.

Pie graphs are used as a visual aid to give you a quick overview of percentages in a single glance. As far as Pac Man goes, it’s real simple. You only need to know two percentages:

The area which resembles Pac Man and the area that does not. Amazingly simply. Beautifully geeky.

I think there are two things in this universe that you can safely say that geeks love. Atari 2600 and Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. Being a geek myself who loves both, this is exactly how I would have made the movie.

With a large Atari joystick as the monolith. This T-shirt is the work of Akron, Ohio illustrator psychoreindeer. Let’s face it, if an ancient civilization is going to search for intelligent life, it’s going to test you on your Atari skills.

So on the rare occasions when you venture out and get away from your mom’s attic, how do you geeks recognize each other? I’m guessing that one big giveaway would be this animated T-Shirt that plays old school Pong. It’s battery powered and it plays pong right on your chest.

Just make sure that you remove the battery before washing! Venture forth my geek friend and as you journey out into the world, you and your shirt will collect fellow nerds as if you were the Pied piper of Pong.

Check out these awesome T-shirts from errorwear. They have a pretty nice assortment of OS and system errors T-shirts, including some from Windows NT4, Windows 2K/XP, Windows 95/98, XBox 360, Sad Mac, Broken image, 404 error Apache server, 404 ISS server, Not Responding and more.

The Blue Screen Of Death T-Shirt actually looks pretty awesome, um, filled out like that. That’s an error I don’t mind at all. Be sure to also look into the Pac-Man 256 level screen T-shirt. Good stuff.

I don’t know about you, but some iPod accessories just rub me the wrong way, are just plain annoying, not mention overpriced. Example: These iPod T-Shirts. They come in a variety of designs to appeal to both males and females of the species, but that really doesn’t help. I have no desire to part with my money at all.

Would you want to wear this? They just attached earbuds and a pocket to hold the device. They did go out of their way to be environmentally friendly though, since the shirts are made from cotton and bamboo. The $70 price tag is just too much for a crappy shirt.
