Samsung introduces quartet of new LCDs

There are probably a few of you out there still rocking the big CRT monitor from way back in the day or those tiny first generation LCDs. Well, it’s time to upgrade. Samsung has announced a new line of high-end contemporary LCDs with what it describes as industry leading performance. What else are they going to say?

The new line has four displays including the SyncMaster 953BW, 2053BW, 2253LW, and the 2253BW. The displays vary in size, but all share the same features for the most part. The new line has a fast 2ms gray-to-gray response time.

Samsung launched 5 new commercial SyncMaster LCD displaysSamsung added five new LCD monitors to their lineup today for the commercial market, ranging in sizes from 17 to 22 inches. The new LCDs consist of the 743BX, 943BX, 943BWX, 2043BWX and 2243BWX models with the ‘BWX’ indicating ‘widescreen’ and prices ranging from $239 up to $359.

All the monitors have adjustable height, can rotate and swivel and feature a very slim 15mm bezel making it easy to tile next to each other for multi-monitor desktops. Included is a contrast ratio of 8,000:1 with Samsung’s MagicColor technology and a DVI port with HDCP.

New Samsung 19-inch SyncMaster display available

Samsung SyncMaster 942BWSamsung is adding a new 19-inch display to its SyncMaster line for use in retail or consumer environments. The Samsung SyncMaster 942BW is set to have a price tag around $250.

The Samsung SyncMaster 942BW offers up a 19-inch display with a 16:10 widescreen format and 1440×900 resolution. Response time is rated at 5ms GTG and the contrast ratio is set at 500:1. You’ve also got support for HDCP via DVI and a narrow bezel.
