New D-Link media player streams Web video to TVs

D-Link DPG-1200 PC to TV media player />We <a href=first brought you word of the D-Link PC-on-TV Player back during CES in January. D-Link has now announced availability of this media player, pricing the DPG-1200 at around $240.

The D-Link DPG-1200 lets you stream Web-based content normally available through your PC to your television instead. It connects to a TV through several different types of video outputs and uses Wi-Fi to connect to the home network. It includes a remote control for navigation of content.

FyreTV streams porn to your living room

fyre.jpgAnyone who attends CES knows that at the same time this big trade show is going on another entertainment event - the Adult Entertainment Expo - is going on at the same time nearby. It seems a piece of technology being shown off at that event this year drew quite some interest - a porn on demand set top box for the home called FyreTV.
