Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 to stream live broadcasts from Smart TVs |
Owners of Samsung’s latest Smart TVs will be able to stream live TV shows to compatible tablets or mobile phones. Both the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Samsung Galaxy S II will be able to make use of the televisions’ second tuner, turning them into second sets to watch in your home.
We don’t have much in the way of specs right now, but of course the new service won’t work on every TV that the company offers , just the upcoming D7000 and D8000 ranges. We also aren’t sure if it will work with the company’s older phones.












Pandora has it’s sights set on a variety of options for in-car music streaming. The news comes straight from Pandora’s Chief Technology Officer, who told attendees at the SF Music Tech Summit that the company is working with car manufacturers to more thoroughly integrate Pandora into vehicles.
mSpot isn’t new. It has been streaming full-length movies to cellphones for a few years. Now however, the company has a potential customer base of 40 million. Mobile phone users on Sprint, AT&T, Verizon Wireless and T-Mobile (including the G1, Pre, iPhone and other smartphones) can go to m.mspot.com to stream movies.
Sorry PS3 and Wii, no Netflix streaming for you. Today we learn that Netflix streaming won’t land on Sony’s PlayStation 3 or Nintendo’s Wii (Not counting PlayOn). Ever. How do we know? Because at the bottom of Microsoft’s details on today’s Xbox LIVE update, it now states that Netflix Watch Instantly integration is now an “exclusive partnership,” with Microsoft.
I-O Data just unveiled their Seg Clip 1Seg TV Tuner for the iPhone. I-O data says that it hit retail in Japan in August. It gives iPhone or iPod Touch users the ability to watch TV wirelessly directly from a SEG Clip plugged into a PC.
Sound Blaster for iTunes from Creative Labs likes to party and aims to spread the music around. It will wirelessly stream your music to any room in your home where you have a Creative Wireless Receiver connected to speakers. It will also work with the new GigaWorks T20W speakers, which have the receiver built-in.
