Asus just released the new Express TV Stick that features high quality digital (DVBT) and analog TV signal reception. The device allows you to watch TV and enjoy access to multimedia entertainment wherever you find yourself.

T-Mobile’s new webConnect USB Laptop Stick is a portable modem that allows you to connect to the Web on your laptop using T-Mobile’s 3G network or Wi-Fi. The device comes with T-Mobile Connection Manager software to automatically detect the best available Internet connection.

The WebConnect USB laptop stick offers tri-band 3G connectivity (HSDPA/UMTS 1900/AWS/2100), and is compatible with GPRS/EDGE networks. It can also double as a portable storage device with a microSD/SDHC expansion slot that can accept up to 8GB cards.

This is either pure genius, or pure “I’m broke as &%#&, but that ain’t gonna stop me from making an arcade stick.” I can’t decide which. Though I can sympathize. Sometimes you just don’t have a cool case for your mod.

ZTIC (Zone Trusted Information Channel) is a USB stick designed for secure online banking, even if your computer is crawling with viruses. The stick was developed in Zurich by IBM and opens an SSL connection with the bank’s servers, keeping the data safely on its side (it has no storage of its own) and displaying the transaction details on the hardware.

Even if your connection is breached, the hacker will be exposed on the device’s display. Pricing and availability are still up in the air. IBM hopes to entice banks into buying it for online banking, which saves banks money on personnel costs but is constantly under siege by hackers.

Like lollipops or Popsicles, some of us like our software on a USB drive. So, looks like some German guy is offering a no-install, “lite” version of the Google CHROME BROWSER. Google on a stick if you will. On a USB flash drive. Carsten created a portable version of Google Chrome that has all the features of the main browser but requires no installation. Just unzip all the files and start using it. It will run directly from the USB stick on any Windows computer and all of your user settings like web history, cookies, etc. will also get saved to the same folder on the stick.
