Scosche just launched a new solar powered gadget in the Solchat Bluetooth Speaker Phone. It’s designed to be used in your car, and features a built in lithium ion rechargeable battery and a solar panel so you can charge it up it in your car’s windshield.

In addition to being able to be charged by the suns rays, it also can be recharged via USB or via a car adaptor. It’s available now for $99.99.

It’s round. It’s a speaker. It’s from Sony Ericsson. I’ll be honest, I don’t get these cell phone speakers, but Sony Ericsson thinks that you will want the MS500, so you can share music with your friends and whatnot.

It’s exactly what it looks like, a round portable speaker that connects to your phone via Bluetooth to play your tunes wherever you happen to be. It can hang on your belt loop with the included strap, and has 5 hours of battery life. Tell me honestly dear reader, do any of you actually use these cell phone speakers? I don’t. I just don’t get it myself.

The latest conceptual iPod dock is called the E-Pod Dock and has a lot of functionality. It’s compatible with your iPhone, iPod touch and iPod classic and functions as a speaker, movie projector and an alarm clock.

Forget its compact size, it will offer you quality hi-fidelity audio. Quite a device. As long as we’re dreaming, how about if it tweets everything you are watching and listening to. One thing is for sure, it would look good on any late night talk show host’s desk.

This remote has us asking a single question. Why? It’s bizarre. Even so, couch potatoes will love it. It’s a cube that flips open to reveal the control buttons. It even has a retro-looking speaker on top.

It has that look about it that says, “I’m an evil genius taking over the world. But right now I need some TV time.” It certainly looks like it’s capable of opening trap doors and remotely flying helicopters, so I guess it has a purpose. You can get yourself this cube controller for just $41.

Sony showed off some fuel cell prototypes at the Fuel Cell Expo 2009 in Tokyo. Pictured are some fuel cell-powered speakers and a charger that create power with only pure water as a byproduct.

The silver speakers can play music and power a mobile device, while that thing that resembles a coffee maker is a completely wireless speaker system that is capable of running for months with its container of ethanol. The blue thing will charge up anything with a USB port.

Vestalife certainly has a thing for bug inspired electronics. True to form, they’ve released the Butterfly iPod speaker dock that doubles as a charger. It sports a few speakers at the top, while the iPod docking station is in the middle. Yeah. Not much to write home about. At least their other efforts incorporated neat insect designs.

It will work with most popular iPod models, features LED volume indicators, auxiliary-in jack and a USB port for PC synchronization. Oh and did you notice it was fugly? This one has an automatic shut-off feature to save batteries. As long as your iPod is a model from 2004 onward, it will be compatible with the Butterfly iPod speaker dock.

Looking for a gimmicky new scent other than your usual BO? Calvin Klein has you covered. Their “We are One” campaign, which starts next month, has Calvin Klein offering bottles of CK One & CK Be with a removable MP3 speaker in the base.

This will allow you to smell better, more loudly. Or something. The limited-edition 100ml collector’s bottle and packaging for Calvin Klein CK one and CK Be are decorated with the “we are one” slogan in multiple languages, spreading the spirit of unity. While spreading foul smelling fragrances everywhere.

Onkyo has released two new cool looking iPod speaker systems. The X-T2CR sports a CD player and the X-T2 plays MDs. Both have built-in iPod docks that are compatible with any generation iPod.

Both also feature AM and FM tuners, and A-OMF Cone and 8cm driver units for the speakers. They’re a little more stylish than your average iPod speaker deck, and actually look pretty nice. ipod docks are a dime a dozen and we like to see some that look good occasionally.

iPod docks come in all shapes and sizes, but when is the last time you saw one that looks like it’s ready to eat Pac-Man? Looks like these ghosts are only available in 3 colors, so one is missing. Probably eaten by Pac-Man himself.

The dock features speakers in it’s eyes and a subwoofer underneath. It will cost you a staggering $90 for having such few features. It doesn’t move, won’t turn blue and white when you eat a power pellet, there aren’t even four of them. And where’s Pac-Man himself?

Relaxation, music and boobs. What more do you want? Not all of us have an available bosom in our lives though. Whether your girlfriend is away or you just don’t have one, just rest your head on iBoobs and all will be right with the world.

It’s a boob inspired relaxation system that features soft padding with a velvet-type material, with nipples covering the speakers, (Not pictured) and it has a headphone jack wire with volume control to connect your MP3 player, mobile phone, computer, or TV. It also runs on batteries.

The Sanko branded Miseal mini projector has a unique cube shape that fits in the palm of your hand, as opposed to typical handheld pico projectors . One interesting feature is that it snaps into a matching docking station for extra juice to supply an additional 2 watts of power for bigger sound.

It’s an LCOS based projector with SVGA, 800×600 resolution. The light source uses white LED to illuminate 25 lumens at 100:1 contrast. It measures nearly 70mm on each side, and weighs only 0.6 pounds. Don’t let the small size fool you as it can display up to a 112-inch diagonal from 16 feet away.

We’ve covered our share of cheap crap gadgets ’round these parts, but sometimes what looks like a cheap gadget can surprise you. Like this Tripod MP3 speaker for instance. Yeah, iPod/MP3 speakers are a dime a dozen, but they aren’t all created equal. I picked up one of these Tripod speakers because although my laptop has great sound, it could be louder, so I figured I would take a chance on this one.

The design is cool because it pumps the music in three directions. And as far as loudness, it doesn’t disappoint. In fact, it’s surprisingly loud and I haven’t had any sound problems at all, like crackling etc. Just attach your MP3 player via the headphone jack, plug it into your USB port and you’re good to go.

Back in October we told you about this cool looking retro speaker that sports Star Trek looks and gives you 3 gadgets in one. Speaker, 4 USB ports, and a clock. We had a chance to check one out in person recently. The good news is that it looks just as awesomely Trek in person. The design is really cool and you can easily see this on the set of the original Star Trek.

As soon as you power it up, the one thing that hits you is how bright the LED lights are. Blindingly bright. Almost annoyingly so. It will bother some people, while others won’t mind, since having a good looking hub on your desk is the trade-off. The lights do make it look more Sci-Fi if you have that kind of decor. The clock is pretty cool. No problems there. And as a hub it does it’s job.

If you’re in the market for a new speaker system for your iPod or iPhone, you might want to give Boston Acoustics Horizon i-DS3 a look see. It features 100 watts of stereo sound and will keeping your iPod/iPhone charged when connected. The “soundbar” has a 2.4GHz wireless subwoofer that features a downward firing enclosure design and frequency response of 35Hz-150Hz.

Yeah we know that there are tons of iPod docks available, but this one stands out as it serves several functions. It will keep your accessories all in one place, helping to clean up some desk clutter. The Tunelight MP3 Speaker System is part music system, part organizing helper.

It has a task light and some compartments to hold your belongings like paperclips,pens etc. And when you combine those features with an iPod dock and speakers, it’s actually useful. It will work with any MP3 player, which means you’ll always have music at your now cleaned up desk.
