HTC ChaCha renamed ChaChaCha in Spain

It looks like HTC has been having some drama regarding their upcoming “Facebook phone”. The HTC ChaCha was recently sued by ChaCha Search Inc for infringement of the ChaCha trademark. And now the ChaCha name has gotten HTC into trouble once again.

Apparently, the HTC ChaCha will be renamed the ChaChaCha in Spain because the word “chacha” is offensive in the country. In the future they obviously need to do better market research when naming their phones.

Acer Iconia Dual-screen Notebook priced, going on sale in Spain on Jan 28

It’s been confirmed that the Acer Iconia dual-screen notebook will be available in Spain on January 28th. As you might have guessed it won’t be cheap. It will be priced at EUR1,499 (or $1,987).

When it arrives in the states it might be priced differently, but it shouldn’t be too far from that mark. The following specs should be well worth it: You get Two 14-inch multi-touch LCDs, Intel Core i5 processor, Up to 4GB RAM, Up to 750GB hard drive, Optional 3G module, USB 3.0 port, HDMI and VGA output, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi b/g/n.

Alcatel One Touch Mini released in SpainThe Alcatel One Touch Mini is rolling out in Spain, aimed at Spanish youth. And so the phones are affordable and feature packed and bright.

The One Touch Mini features a 2.4 inch touch screen that displays a widgets bar, a 1.3 megapixel camera, FM and Bluetooth. It comes in attractive colors with a cool QWERTY keypad. The Alcatel One Touch Mini will be cost just 60 Euros (or $89).
