Triple SIM Phone shows upYesterday we showed you a Dual sim phone modeled after a Dubai building. How about a triple SIM phone not modeled after a building? Yes, it’s an actual dual sim phone. Even if it does seem extreme. The device is manufactured by QiiQ EcoCarrier Inc. operating out of the RAK Free Economic Zone in UAE.

It can hold three SIM cards but activate only two at any one time, making it convenient if you have several phone numbers and need to keep your personalities separate. Some features include 900/1800/1900MHz and 900/1800MHz GSM connectivity, 2 megapixel camera and a 2.4” QVGA display.

SIM- and hardware-unlocked G1 surfaces for $400The Android Dev Phone 1, a completely unlocked G1, is available to “developers” for just $399 after a $25 setup fee. All you need to do is register as a developer at the Android Market and the phone is yours. Registration as a developer costs $25, but after that, you’ll be eligible for the cheap, unlocked phone.

The Android Dev Phone 1 is fully compatible with Android 1.0, and being able to swap out the SIM card breaks you free of T-Mobile’s service. It’ll also let you use custom Android builds that work with the freshly unlocked bootloader. You can even get free shipping and cool detailing on the back. Google warns that it’s not really meant for non-developers, but we’re sure that won’t stop you.

Cool 920 Dual Sim Phone
Here’s a phone with a cool cobra look. The Cool 920 dual SIM phone features a display that resembles one of the other LG handsets with the flip display, giving you a horizontal point of view, so you don’t have to turn the phone itself. Plus, it can carry two SIM cards at the same time, although I’m not sure how you would have two conversations at once.

Some other features include Bluetooth connectivity, 2 megapixel camera, GPRS and WAP support, a microSD memory card slot as well as audio and video file format support. It has looks, at least.

SIM card reader reads deleted text messages on your cell
A New York company named BrickHouse Security wants to add a little spice to your marriage. The kind of spice that might get your stuff thrown out onto the lawn via a $150 SIM card reader that can read deleted text messages.

BrickHouse President Todd Morris wants you to know that once you delete a text message, they are not gone forever. He also wants you to be able to see your spouses or your kids deleted text messages to make sure there’s no funny business going on. Hell, $150 is probably cheaper then hiring a PI. So it’s either this, or go on that Cheaters show and show the world what a cheating sack of dung your spouse is.

iPhone Hacked To Use Old AT&T SIM

Posted in Hacks, iPhone by Reuben Drake on July 22nd, 2007

iPhone hack to allow use of old SIM card without new contractThe guys over at HackTheiPhone have come out with another one, with this hack changing the iPhone so that you can use it with your old AT&T/Cingular SIM card from a different phone. This allows you to use the voice services of the iPhone without having to start a new contract.

So, to take advantage of this hack you’ll need an iPhone, another phone with an AT&T SIM card that you can use and enough time to follow the 19 step process to make your old SIM card work with your new iPhone. Note that this process does look a little easier than the iPhone ringtone hack as there appears to be about four fewer steps involved.
