Steampunk Phone comes from Russia with loveWe’ve seen our share of steampunk round these parts. I’m not sure if we’ve ever seen an actual steampunk phone though. Check this beauty out. If I didn’t know this was a phone, I might think it was some kind of miniature sub looking at it from the back.

It hails from Russia, and is loaded with all kinds of Steampunk goodness. Look at all of that detail in front. It’s as if Jules Verne took up Steve Jobs’ role a few centuries early. There isn’t much info on it, but the picture speaks loud and clear.

Vladimir Putin puts a satellite collar on his dogAbout a year ago, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin announced that he would one day like to be able to pinpoint the location of his black Labrador, Koni, at any time using a Russian satellite navigation system known as GLONASS.

Yesterday, he did it. Mr. Putin procured a satellite collar that will allow him to track her, no matter where she is in Russia. (This dog must get around) According to Putin, “She’s wagging her tail, she likes it.” The system will be fully working for Russian territory by the end of this year.

Russian Alien car is looking for Ripley
Humans can’t seem to get enough of Aliens. The kind Ripley kills, not the grey ones that come at night and abduct you. Recently, we showed you some Aliens furniture.

Now some dude in Russia is taking the phenomenon mobile with this Alien car. The creator did a great job. It looks like it’s just bursting out of the grill. I love how the hands grip the headlights too. Nice touch. Next step, Ripley hunting for some payback.
