This oddly-shaped pink gadget is the Conny Q3 Sports, a video game console from where else? China. It’s designed to play like the Nintendo Wii, just cheaper and crappier. The Q3 Sports sells for just $99 and includes 5 games. That’s gotta keep you entertained for at least 15 minutes. Plus it looks like a Wii designed by a female razor company.

The Conny Q3 includes a wireless 3D motion-sensing controller, but it isn’t as powerful as their Wii competitor. Mostly because it plays ONLY those 5 games. Nothing else. I hope you like “Hot Dance”, fishing, bowling, golf or tennis. Excuse me, “tennies”.

What’s all the Fuss about? The Fuss LC-4212B LCD TV is making a huge fuss with its unique shape, which is oval. And that sure beats the typcal sharp edged rectangles we usually see. It was on display at the Hong Kong Electronics Fair from Ultmost Technology.

Is it a huge phone? An LCD pill? A consumer suppository? The new Un-handheld PSP? What do you make of this oddball? Do you like it more or less than the typical form factor? No word on whether this will ever make it into any homes, or what the price may be.

It’s round. It’s a speaker. It’s from Sony Ericsson. I’ll be honest, I don’t get these cell phone speakers, but Sony Ericsson thinks that you will want the MS500, so you can share music with your friends and whatnot.

It’s exactly what it looks like, a round portable speaker that connects to your phone via Bluetooth to play your tunes wherever you happen to be. It can hang on your belt loop with the included strap, and has 5 hours of battery life. Tell me honestly dear reader, do any of you actually use these cell phone speakers? I don’t. I just don’t get it myself.

I’m no pool shark, but the game of pool is all about angles, geometry and math. And taking the other’s guy money. So how does a game play on a round table? No more corner pockets for one thing. I guess you might have to call your shot using terms like “8 ball in the 12 o’clock pocket”.

I suppose it levels the playing field, making expert and novice alike learn the game for the first time. And where do you place the cue for the break? I have no answers, but the whole thing is customizable and you can even put a stripper pole in the middle for when you grow bored of pool. That way you can watch a stripper try to sink balls as she dances. You use a stick, she uses lucite heels. By then you’re so drunk you’re just glad to have something to bet on, because this round table hasn’t been winning you all the dough you thought..

It’s still a concept, but the latest Sphere Sound System rocks it’s name. Obviously aliens are designing gadgets on this planet. The entire music system is round, not just the speakers. It is copletely and utterly spherical. Even those backwards tin hat wearing believers that the Earth is flat can not deny the roundness of this thing. Plus every piece is designed with maximum function in mind.

The subwoofer has the largest speaker and the speaker cone is flanked by two tri-channel speakers, which can be used as a 2.1 surround-sound system. The holes on the sides of the speakers are not ears, but allow deeper vibrating sounds out, which helps to generate ultra deep bass. Every sound is emphasized in the spheres. When using the unit, the main function buttons and the drive glow green. When it’s off, the power button glows red. The LCD screen also glows as the system plays music. Not only is it super functional, but just look at the decorative statement it makes.
