I can’t believe that Resident Evil is 15 years old. Time flies when you’re killing zombies. To commemorate the 15th anniversary, Capcom has announced the Resident Evil 15th Anniversary Box for the Japanese market.

The set includes: Resident Evil Directors Cut (PS1), Resident Evil 2 (PS1), Resident Evil 3 (PS1), Resident Evil Revival Selection (PS3), Resident Evil 4 soundtrack, Resident Evil Code: Veronica soundtrack, special Resident Evil pin and sticker set plus original Resident Evil 5 spacer.

Resident Evil Monopoly

This isn’t your granddad’s Monopoly game. The Resident Evil version ties the popular game in with the popular board game. It was created by a guy named Nick, who spent close to 4 years creating it.

Everything from the streets to the Community chest cards have a Resident Evil theme. There are also plans to create custom die-cast game pieces and custom money. And here I thought the only place where zombies and real estate intersected was Wall Street.

Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles Shot BlasterFew things in life are better than shooting zombies with a plastic gun. Unfortunately, most of the gun accessories for the Wii are pretty boring. Gamers want something that stands out. A gun they can be proud of. One that they will give a female name too and tote with them in their backpack.

Well, this new Resident Evil Shot Blaster is just the ticket. It shows that you are serious about your zombie hunting and spend way too much time in your mother’s basement. You can purchase the gun for $29.95 online from Capcom. It includes Resident Evil-style Wiimote and Nunchuk skins.

Resident Evil / Red Cross blood drive

Resident Evil / Red Cross blood driveDon’t get too excited, this isn’t an add-on. Capcom is partnering up with the Red Cross for a good cause and hosting a blood drive on March 13th, the day when Resident Evil 5 launches.

Those who buy a copy of the game at the World of Wonder gallery on Hollywood Boulevard can also donate blood from 11am to 5pm. So I’m assuming that means they’ll at least give you a cookie too, so you won’t be all disoriented. It’s a win/win situation. Kill some zombies and save some lives. Donors can even win prizes.
