Redbox starts renting video games for $2 |
Right on schedule, Redbox is introducting video game rentals for $2 a day. They have a pretty good selection of titles for those wanting to not buy games at 50 and 60 dollars, or those who like to try before they buy.
About 5,000 kiosks have already been involved in the testing of this service and now Redbox is adding the other 21,000 across the US. So go on, get gaming for just $2 a title.

Blockbuster has a new program that will load DRM’d movie rentals onto an SD card from a kiosk. Let’s say that you’re at the airport, or some mall. You want to rent a movie. Apparently you just format a spare SD card (because it doesn’t look like they give you a card), put it in the machine, select a movie, pay about $4. Then you have the movie on your card with DRM.
