The “follow-me golf caddy” also known as The Shadow Caddy, has a thing for old rich dudes on the Golf course. It follows them around without the use of any form of remote control, so they don’t have to drag their clubs around when not in a golf cart.

It’s cheaper than hiring a human caddy and leaves them free to concentrate on the ball. The device works by using a transmitter worn on the body of the user and uses multiple on-board CPUs and a collision detection system to navigate the fairways. It won’t improve the Golf game of old rich dudes, just like it won’t improve their fashion sense, but it will make them feel important.

If you don’t want to go through the trouble of actually walking outside and turning your sprinklers on, you might enjoy this Remote Rain Water Control. Maybe you don’t like exercise. Who’s judging you?

All you have to do is hook this little gadget up to your water line and attach the hose. Then just keep the remote somewhere handy(Like that’s gonna happen.) and press the button when you want to turn the water on or off. You could also watch at your window and when the next trespasser walks through your yard, give him or her a good soak. That would be fun enough to justify the $69.99 price.

Another robot with the Stormtrooper color scheme. Be scared. Be very scared. The ApriPoko robot will store all your remote control’s commands. After storing the remote’s commands, it will then respond to your voice. So say goodbye to your remote.

But first you’ll have to train ApriPoko like some Pokemon. He is smart enough to capture the infra-red beams, each time one passes it and it will ask you what has just happened? When you give it the information, the robot will store the command and also the infra-red signal details, which can be used later.

Remember being a kid and spending hours in the tub playing with your trusty buddy the rubber duck? It didn’t take batteries, it didn’t talk and it had no flashing lights or engine, yet somehow he stayed afloat.

Meet the future of rubber duck technology. Though I’m not sure what it is we are accomplishing here, I mean most tubs are of such a size that you reach your arm out and your duck is never far away. I’m guessing this means that rubber duck races are about to get really intense.

Engineering students from France combined the two best things in the world, Nintendo and robots. The Pekee Robot pictured is controlled using a Nintendo DS Lite. The idea is a control rig based on Nintendo’s portable console. This enables wireless command of the bot with the D-pad, touchscreen, motion sensors, and stylus and also a target mode modeled after Super Mario 64 DS, as well as voice commands with system’s mic.

It won’t be long at all before we get the nightmare scenario of invading robot hordes, their geek masters controlling them wirelessly from atop high towers, laughing maniacally while they contemplate an end to their virginity and the beginning of their reign. I for one welcome our new geek masters and hope I will be spared.

You can add a little strategy to your in-pool battles with this remote controlled water cannon. It can be directed from up to 40 feet away and can launch a stream of water up to 20 feet.
