PSPgo to drop to $200 this Friday? |
Sony’s PSPgo left a a lot to be desired and that $250 asking price isn’t helping It just can’t compete with other handheld consoles. But if you’ve been thinking about buying the PSPgo anyway, here’s some good news.
A leaked document seems to indicate that there might be a $50 price drop coming soon. Sony hasn’t commented on this, neither a refute or a confirmation. But they have to start moving units.

Looks like the PSPgo is living up to it’s name in Japan, where it’s go go go. Sony’s has moved more than 28,000 units on its first day on sale in Japan. The launch was supported with retail and download titles Persona 3 Portable and Dissidia Final Fantasy Universal Tuning, as well as download-only titles Disgaea Infinite and LocoRoco Midnight Carnival.
The PSP Go isn’t compatible with your current PSP accessories, but Sony has come up with a solution. A ridiculously huge solution. Peripherals like the 1Seg Tuner and GPS Receiver will be able to fit in the Go’s proprietary “Multi use connector.”
