In June the rumor was that Amazon isn’t getting enough parts for the production of the company’s upcoming tablet devices. But now it looks like Amazon has found the right suppliers and is reportedly buying all parts that it can to ramp up production of the 7 and 10-inch tablets.

Vendor reports suggest that Amazon now comes second only to Apple when it comes to IC parts shipment from Taiwan. This synchs up with the previous report that Amazon is importing 2-finger touchscreen display solution for its devices. So we may be seeing three sizes of tablets.

HTC has entered the final stages of testing for its new 10.1-inch Puccini tablet PC and volume production is expected for June. The tablet will pack in a Qualcomm MSM8660 1.5GHz processor and run on Android 3.0.1 according to sources.

Other features of the Puccini include a touch panel that supports both resistive and capacitive touch technologies and its touch pen will be able to work on certain software and areas. It won’t be long until we hear more. It should ship very soon after June.

Looks as if the PSP Go has just… stopped. According to a Japanese blogger working for an official Sony retail partner, production of the PSP Go handheld has come to a full stop. Adding some weight to this rumor, the Sony Style Japan online store no longer lists the portable and it doesn’t come up in searches.

The product page only comes up via a direct link, but shows it as out of stock. Sony says that demand for “current generation PSPs” will continue to be met, so we are left with what we already knew, that there is no demand for the PSP Go.

There is hardly a day that goes by where we don’t have an iPad or iPhone rumor. Here is today’s. Apple’s overseas manufacturing partners will apparently start production of the iPad 2 next month, while they will also be building the fifth-generation iPhone in May.

Take this with the usual grains of salt until we have something more concrete. One thing is for sure, no matter when they start production, it won’t be soon enough for Apple fans.

The CDMA iPhone rumors just won’t go away and now there are reports that Apple is optimistic for a great 2011. The company is apparently planning to ship five to six million CDMA iPhones between January and March, and has increased the production of regular iPhones from thirteen million to fifteen million, bringing the total number of possible shipments to twenty-one million.

Rumor is that the CDMA version won’t be exclusive to Verizon since it could be shipping to the US and also Asia Pacific, with carriers like China Telecom, KDDI Au, and SK Telecom all possible destinations. Foxconn is said to be producing both editions of the iphone, and Pegatron will be helping on the CDMA side.

This cool dual screen laptop concept from V12 designs may actually get into production soon. That’s due to the fact that V12 Design has teamed up with American firm Estari to help with development. Estari knows about developing dual screen computer things, including a 2-VU dual screen laptop from 2007.

In fact, their web page has changed to reflect the news that they’ve teamed up with V12 Design to make a laptop that looks something like this. If it turns out at all like this, it could very well revolutionize the laptop.
