iMo Foto Frame Printer

Posted in Digital Photo Frames by Conner Flynn on October 1st, 2009

iMo Foto Frame PrinterHot on the heels of Sony’s new digital photo frame/printer, comes this iMo Foto Frame Printer. Yep, it’s an 8″, 800 x 600 digital photo frame and printer all mangled lovingly together.

It’s a stand-alone device and doesn’t require a computer connection, but it sports a USB input and accepts CF/SD/MS/MMC and xD memory cards. It may not be the most attractive thing in the world, but it prints 6 x 4 glossy prints at 300 dpi. The cartridge is replaceable and holds enough paper and ink for 36 prints.

Barbie Digital Nail Printer prints on your fingernailsSorry guys. This one’s for the girls. The Barbie Digital Nail Printer is part of Mattel’s new line of products called “beautronics”. This Nail Printer is designed to print images directly onto your fingernails using thermal inkjet technology and specially-formulated cosmetic grade ink.

Just insert your finger into the machine and a digital camera inside transmits an image of your fingernail to the computer. With the included Barbie software you can select from 1000’s of image designs and see a preview of the image you choose superimposed on your nail so you see exactly what it would look like on your nail.

Remember the Tomy Xiao TIP-521 digital camera with built-in Zink printer? It’s available in Japan now, and the above video illustrates how they’re trying to convince you to buy one.

Have you watched it yet? Good. Still want to buy one? If the commercial has sold you on it, the Xiao will be available for $350 in the US in Q2 of 2009. I don’t know. He seemed to be struggling a bit there. He might need some fiber.
