New Lexmark printers go wireless |
Lexmark yesterday unveiled several new printers and all-in-one devices which are geared towards home use. Major highlights of these new printers include two wireless models and also an all-in-one with a front laptop port.
Five new models in all were debuted, including the Z2420 ($80), X3650 ($80) and X4650 ($130). Specific features and availability are noted after the jump.


Canon brought to market today a new all-in-one printer it says “has the ability to produce crisp graphics and text on plain paper with the incorporation of the new Pigment Reaction (PgR) technology.” The printer is the Canon PIXMA MX7600 Office AIO and pricing is set at around $400.
Epson is set to offer a new all-in-one printer with wired and wireless network connectivity which will reportedly offer an ability to make it easier to install on a network. The Epson Stylus CX9475Fax will price at around $180.
Xerox said today it is bringing to market its lowest price color laser printer to date. It is called the Xerox Phaser 6125 and pricing is set at around $350.
Samsung recently unveiled a new monochrome laser printer for the SOHO market. The new Samsung ML-2851ND is priced at around $330.
Eastman Kodak has entered the inkjet market with a new line of All-in-One (AiO) printers for the home.
The Kodak Easyshare G600 Printer Dock is a portable printing solution that works with your Kodak camera to help you print high quality pictures anytime and anywhere. The new design measures 7.7″ x 4.0″ x 13.0″ and weighs 4.2 lbs making it small enough to take with you just in case you have an impromptu photo shoot.
If you are looking for a compact color laser printer, the Samsung CLP-300 series may be the rig for you. The CLP-300 is ideal for those people who want the benefits of color printing but do not have the real estate for the typical color laser printers. The CLP-300 features a trim footprint of 15.4″ w x 13.5″ d x 10.4″ h and weighs a wispy 30lbs.
