Intel is the biggest maker of computer processors on the planet. The company makes processors for all sorts of electronic equipment from high-end gaming desktops and servers to netbooks. Dell has announced a new Precision workstation line that uses the newly announced Intel Xeon 5500 series processors. The line has three models including the Precision T7500, T5500, and T3500 workstations.

Dell is getting ready to release three new T-series workstations: the T3500, T5500, and T7500. You’ll get up to 1.5TB of storage space, an eSATA port, DisplayPort connectors and they’re EnergyStar compliant.

The T3500 that will support up to 24GB RAM. The T5500 offers a RAM capacity of up to 72GB. Dual sport sockets will be included so you can use dual Intel Xeons. The T7500 supports a hefty 192GB of RAM running at 1,066MHz or 1,333MHz. This model also features dual native Gen 2 PCIe graphics card slots with support for NVIDIA SLI.
