Japanese manufacturer Amadana recently rolled out the SAL pocket video recorder that records video in MPEG4 format and captures 3MP pictures with its CMOS image sensor. The device measures 54mm x 95mm x 12mm and weighs just 85 grams.

Many of us remember when projectors were bulky things the size of a suitcase. Not anymore. Now they are phone sized. NTT Docomo is getting into the act too. They unveiled a prototype cell phone that doubles as a video projector and demonstrated it at CEATEC JAPAN 2008. The projector would give you a 20-inch image from a distance of about 80 centimeters and roughly 100 minutes of viewing time, which is enough to watch TV shows, podcasts and short films, if not 2 hour movies.
JVC enters the HD pocket camcorder arena with something new at CEATEC today, with the Everio HD Memory Camera. This SDHC based concept camcorder is expected to be AVCHD ready with an HDMI port. You’ll notice that most of the buttons are conveniently situated within finger distance at the top of the device. There isn’t much info otherwise, but more details will be forthcoming.
The Wiimote Controller Pocket is probably the lamest excuse for a Wii accessory we’ve ever seen. This amazing device amounts to little more then a dressed up tissue box that says Wii on it. It’s available in 3 colors and of course the idea is that it can hold your Wiimote and nunchuk. And in it’s off hours, it doubles as a pen holder.
