Samsung unveils ST80 camera with WiFi, swiveling-lens, HMX-E10 pocket camcorder

Samsung ST80 is the latest digital camera to feature Wi-Fi, allowing you upload images directly via DLNA or email. It features 3x optical zoom, a 3″ WQVGA touchscreen display, 720p 30fps H.264 video recording, and Samsung’s Smart Crop feature that lets you take angled shots with the ability to straighten them up.

Expect this one to hit the market in September for $250. Perfect for those who want to transfer photos from their camera to a computer without a physical cable.

Creative drops third gen Vado HD pocket camcorder Here’s some good news if you’ve found the previous two models of Creative’s Vado to be a bit lacking. The company has just announced a new 3rd gen model. Looks like most of the specs are the same, but Creative is promising improved low light video recording and manual exposure adjustment.

You’ll also get a new motion detection mode, support for an external stereo mic, a headphone output, and you’ll still be able to take some still photos too. Now you can also expect Mac and PC compatibility out of the box. Comes in five glossy colors with one capacity option: 4GB.

Second Generation Creative Vado HD Pocket CamcorderYou can now pre-order the second generation Vado HD pocket camcorder from Creative. It comes with new Vado Central for Mac OS X that offers video transferring and direct to iMovie importing of your Vado videos. The new Vado Central will be available for download in early September and yes, it is compatible with previous Vado and Vado HD models.

The new Vado HDs come in 4GB and 8GB models. You’ll get up to 60 minutes of video for the 4GB and up to 120 minutes of video on the 8 GB model. It’s available in two color combinations, a 4GB glossy white with green and an 8GB glossy black with red. The 4GB model is $179.99, while the 8GB model retails for $199.99.
