New Verizon LG Revolution Pics

Posted in LG by Conner Flynn on May 18th, 2011

The LG Revolution from Verizon Wireless will be launching on May 26 and now we have the first real images that have surfaced online. It will feature Bing as the default search engine and run on Verizon’s 4G LTE network. You can see the lock screen and that smooth new black cover in the above image.

We aren’t sure if we prefer the black cover to the silver back that was on display at CES, but either way it looks sexy. And if you are interested in the packaging, it will look nearly identical to that of the HTC Thunderbolt.

We had a look at Andy Rubin fiddling with an Android-powered Motorola tablet during the D:Dive Into Mobile conference, but those pics were from a distance. We know that you want to see some quality pics of the device and luckily for you, some higher resolution pictures of the device have surfaced.

Is it a Galaxy Tab killer? We don’t know yet. But it looks pretty sweet and sexy.

New pics of Microsoft Courier

Posted in Microsoft by Conner Flynn on March 7th, 2010

Some new pics have surfaced of Microsoft’s dual-screen Courier, and it looks like it should be a decent competitor to the iPad. Some new details accompany the new pics as well. The device is less than inch thick, weighs just over a pound, and the two screens are about the size of a 5 x 7 photo.

There’s apparently a built-in camera and the NVIDIA Tegra 2 graphics processor will be driving a version of the Zune HD and Windows Phone 7 interfaces.

It looks a bit like the Samsung Omnia, and features a 5-megapixel camera along with a secondary camera for video calls, built-in GPS, WiFi, and an “innovative S-Class 3D interface.”

Sadly we don’t have complete specs, but the phone will apparently be hitting Europe in March. We should learn more later this month. The pic and the specs above come from a retailer’s sales brochure in the Netherlands.

T-Mobile branded Samsung “Memoir” cameraphone surfaces

T-Mobile branded Samsung “Memoir” cameraphone surfacesThe latest blurry photos to surface are these two hazy pics that supposedly show-off a T-Mobile Samsung destined for the US. The alleged big brother to the Samsung Behold reportedly features an 8 megapixel camera. Tmo News is also reporting that it’s going to run on Touchwiz, the same UI as the Behold, and that it’s being called the Memoir.

It’s not a smartphone as the Touchwiz interface doesn’t have the flash and whiz-bang of Android or OSX, so don’t expect wifi. But that’s just what people are guessing. 3G is expected, along with a full html browser. Nobody knows for sure.
