The TAG Heuer Meridiist Lamborghini Mobile Phone features a case made from a combination of hand brushed stainless steel, calfskin leather, and 60.5 carats of sapphire crystal glass on its dual display.

It sports a 2 megapixel camera, a battery that will give you up to 28 days of standby time and up to 7 hours of talk time, video recording and playback, support for MP3 files, plus it comes with 2GB of storage and USB 1.0 support so you can connect it to your PC.

This time to include voicemail support for your carrier-issued number, along with other features like online, searchable voicemail, free automated voicemail transcription, custom voicemail greetings for different callers, email and SMS notifications and affordable international calls.

Every carrier in the nation must be pissed. The real interesting thing about these new options is that your messages follow you no matter what, even if you switch carriers to get some hot new device.

EKING S515 MID priced, shipping this monthThe rebranded DigiCube Z8 MID phone aka the EKING S515 MID phone is ready to hit the market later this month in China. It runs on an Intel Atom 1.2GHz processor and packs a 16GB SSD, 1GB RAM and a 5″ WVGA touchscreen display. It will be available from Amazon China and will retail for $669. It ships starting tomorrow.

It’s said to be compatible with three of the country’s 3G networks, but only the China Telecom-flavored device is currently available at Amazon China.

Motorola Aura Gold and Diamond Edition The Motorola Aura has yet another new edition. The latest gold-plated, diamond-studded Aura is named the Motorola Aura Diamond Edition and as usual is aimed at those with some disposable income. It will cost you £3,500 ($5,700) and is plated with 18 carat gold, with thirty of the thirty-four diamonds on the phone’s circular display.

The other four diamonds are on the navigation key on the keypad. Some features include quad-band GSM/EDGE, CrystalTalk technology, stereo Bluetooth, Music and video players, email, web browser, 2MP camera and 2GB of internal memory.

Nokia N920 shows itselfThe Nokia N900 might have just been released, but hot on its heels is its successor, the Nokia N920 Internet Tablet. It showed up at the Nokiaport.de forums.

The photo appears to be real and we know that the device will feature a 4.13″ capacitive touchscreen display in a thin body. And yes, no sign of a physical keyboard. We don’t have any info on its release date, but don’t expect it for awhile. We will likely see it at Mobile World Congress 2010.

Acer announces Liquid Android phoneAcer looks like they mean business in the cell phone market, having officially announced the Acer Liquid, Acer’s first Android-powered smartphone. This is truly something to drool over, as it will be powered by Qualcomm’s 1GHz Snapdragon processor. It will be the first Android-device to use the processor. Liquid=drool.

This one features a high-definition WVGA capacitive touchscreen, and will be powered by Android 1.6. We don’t have an official release date or pricing info yet, but that info should drop soon. We’ll let you know.

Kempler & Strauss intro Billionair 6 WinMo phoneKempler & Strauss have been busy. The other day they unveiled a small and cool watchphone. Now they’ve announced the their newest Windows Mobile handset, called the touchscreen Billionair 6.

This 3G HSPA handset features a 624MHz ARM processor, GPS and WiFi, and has a micro SD slot for up to 4GB of storage, along with a 3 megapixel camera. Dubbed the B6, it runs a custom interface over Windows Mobile and even sports an accelerometer. The B6 is $260 and it’s available right now.

Kempler unveils W PhoneWatchKempler & Strauss has just unveiled the W PhoneWatch, which looks like a great watch/phone. It’s similar to the LG GD910 but smaller. Despite the small size, no stylus is needed for the touchscreen interface. What you get is a full media phone with 4GB of storage and a microSD card slot and it will play videos and music.

But why stop there? It can also use its camera for video recording. Bundled with the W PhoneWatch is a matching Bluetooth headset called the Communicator. The phone is a quad-band GSM device and should work on AT&T and T-Mobile for voice. They don’t mention EDGE or 3G for data.

LG officially unveils BL20 Chocolate handset

LG officially unveils BL20 Chocolate handsetLG has officially announced the upcoming release of its new Chocolate series handset, the BL20. Some specs include a 5-megapixel camera, 2.4-inch display, and a touchbutton interface. The BL20 will ship to Europe first in October for the equivalent of $394 without a contract.

Some other features include an LED flash and autofocus for the camera, with internal memory at 130MB, expandable with an 8GB microSD memory card. It supports Quad-band GSM voice networks and two-band 3G data networks.

New Zealand law makes satnav phones illegal then takes it back

newzealandMany states here in America have hands free laws in effect that only allow the user to their phone with a Bluetooth device. We can still use our phones for navigation and as a music player though. In New Zealand, a new law at first made using the phone as a satnav device illegal.

The new law is called the Road User Amendment Rule 2009 and it reads in part, “You can use a mobile phone held in a cradle while driving, but only to make, receive or terminate a phone call. You cannot use them in any other way, such as reading a GPS map, reading email, or consulting an electronic diary.”

This Vertu clamshell also ships with some exclusive ringtones recorded by UK based band Zero 7. Pretty impressive for a clamshell. And at those prices it had better be.
