BlueWatchDog: Bluetooth personal anti-theft device

BlueWatchDog: Bluetooth personal anti-theft deviceBluetooth technology is great for handling wireless, hands-free calls, but I bet you’ve never used it like this. Think of this one as a virtual perimeter device. The BlueWatchDog Personal Anti-Theft Alarm will alert you on your cellphone if someone steals your belongings, like say your wallet and takes them outside of your specific radius.

Basically the alarm will sound in an ear piercing shriek that hopefully will make the thief scared and drop what they are stealing…. Only to have them break it if it’s an expensive device no doubt.

Solar ChumAlong personal solar tracking deviceCan’t seem to get enough sun for your gadgets? If only that great big fiery ball in the sky would stay still. It would make it so much easier for you to harness those rays. That ain’t gonna happen, but here’s the next best thing.

The Solar ChumAlong solar tracking system is a solar charging panel that automatically tracks the sun just like those expensive arrays you see in movies. But this one is portable and lightweight, so you can always have power. The solar panel is always facing the sun so you’ll always be able to juice up your gadgets.

Ila Dusk Personal Alarm does the screaming for you

Ila Dusk Personal Alarm does the screaming for youThe streets can be unsafe anywhere these days and you can’t take your safety for granted, especially if you are a woman. You can always have some mace or a taser handy, but as some added protection you may want to pack a loud alarm on your person to scare the bad guy off and alert those nearby that you are in trouble.

That’s where this device comes in handy. The Ila Personal Alarm is named after the Hindu goddess of voice and the device will omit a 130 decibel shriek that sounds like a female scream. At £19.50 it’s not a huge purchase and it’s a small price to pay for safety. It could save your life.

Martin Jetpack gets unveiled

Martin Jetpack gets unveiled
The Martin Jetpack is defined by the FAA as an “experimental ultralight airplane, equipped with a gas-powered, V-4 piston engine and two ducted fans that provide the lift.” The jetpack was unveiled among an enthusiastical crowd in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. It will allow the flyer to hover for about 30 minutes and rise to 8,000 feet.

It will cost you $100,000 and you’ll have to complete 15 hours of flight training as well as undergo a “safety screening.” I’m getting flashbacks of 70’s TV. Back when it seemed that everyone used a jetpack in at least one episode of their show. I can just see that trend being revived today. How would you like to see House tossing his cane and taking off?
