If you don’t want to buy your home theater by piecing together parts, you may want to try a packaged home theater in a box. In that case Onkyo is here to help. Onkyo has put together a couple of new 3D-ready Home Theater in a Box setups: The Onkyo HT-6300 and HT-7300.
Both come with four 3D-ready HDMI 1.4a inputs and handle upscaling to 1080p via the Faroudja DCDi Cinema processor. The difference comes down to the HT-7300 swapping the front speakers for a pair of 41-inch tall floor-standing speakers with dual woofers.

Onkyo is offering a new nettop PC with the launch of the Onkyo P305A3, which features NVIDIA’s Ion platform. Under the hood, the Onkyo P305A3 comes with a 1.6GHx Intel Atom N230 processor, NVIDIA’s Ion chipset, a GeForce 9400M graphics card and 2GB of RAM.
Onkyo has unveiled a new home AV receiver that means business. It’s the company’s first that includes Pandora, Rhapsody, and Sirius streaming internet radio support. The Onyko TX-NR807 supports DLNA 1.5 media streaming, for playback of media stored on networked computers and drives, along with six HDMI ports, Faroudja DCDi Cinema 1080p upscaling and both Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio.
Onkyo is offering a high end dock for your iPod in the form of the Onkyo ND-S1 iPod Dock. This one is compatible with the iPod Touch, iPod classic and iPod Nano, and it’s designed to be used in your home theater setup, featuring digital optical and coaxial audio outputs along with composite A/V outputs.
Here’s some good news for those of us living in the States. Onkyo has finally launched its latest Blu-ray player in the US market. This one is the DV-BD507 and it supports Deep Color and x.v. color specifications of HDMI 1.3a and can play AVCHD video files stored on SD/SDHC card or DVD-R/RW dics.
Onkyo just released their latest netbook in Japan. It’s the Atom-powered DC204A3 and it comes with all the usual suspects like an Intel 945GSE Express chipset, 1GB RAM, a 10.1” LCD display at 1,024 x 600 resolution, integrated Wi-Fi, built-in web cam for video calls, D-SUB and Ethernet.
Onkyo has released two new cool looking iPod speaker systems. The X-T2CR sports a CD player and the X-T2 plays MDs. Both have built-in iPod docks that are compatible with any generation iPod.
Onkyo just released the HDC-1L nettop audio PC, a perfect computer for any small office or room in your home. The computer is specially designed for digital audio playback.
