Nuts and Bolts iPhone stand

Nuts and Bolts iPhone standWe’ve seen our share of custom iPhone docks, but this one takes a minimalist engineering approach. The Nuts and Bolts dock is built from… Well, nuts and a large bolt. The connector is attached to a piece of perspex which holds the iPhone in place.

It was created by one Frederick P Weller and we have to reluctantly admit that we like his approach. Very machine age and industrial looking. And obviously easy to make should you want to try your hand at it. Assuming you have the nuts to pull it off. Oh and the long bolt.

Hydrokinetic wrench uses the power of liquid

Hydrokinetic wrench uses the power of liquidThe Hydrokinetic Adjustable wrench lets you work with twenty three different sizes of bolts and nuts. The secret to it’s success with so many sizes lies in the wrench’s liquid core. To adjust the wrench, just open the valve, fit it around the nut or bolt and push the gripper on the opposite end.

This will compress the liquid which will push the gripper on the end. Once it is snug against the nut, close the valve and your wrench is locked in position. The head will let you get into even the tightest spaces and the design of the grip will help you turn damaged nuts and bolts.

Kid goes nuts when he gets a Wii for Christmas

No one can really blame a kid for going nuts when he gets a Wii for Christmas, what with the current Wii shortage and all. Still, there’s something a little off about how excited this kid gets. He must have been dreaming about wrapping his little hand around the Wiimote and getting in on the busting up a TV with your Wiimote action, for months.

Because he sure is excited about receiving his game console. The video is weird, but worth a laugh or two. Go on and watch it. Then you tell me if this little guy isn’t destined to be the next this guy. Oh and keep the volume down.
