Nokia CK-15W Bluetooth Display Car Kit displays mobile phone information on in your carIt looks like Nokia is getting ready to release an in-car Bluetooth product to provide the driver information on their Bluetooth enabled mobile phone while driving.

According to Crave the Nokia CK-15W Bluetooth Display Car Kit provides on-screen information to manage incoming and outgoing calls through the 2.2″ TFT display. The device is mounts on the dashboard at more of an eye level to keep drivers eyes more on the road and less looking down at their handset.

The CK-15W is expected to have some “handsome” looking menus and can download the entire Contacts list from your mobile phone to the device. The photo shows a graphical menu with what looks to be icons for Contacts, a Bluetooth connection, some synchronization function and a couple tools that may be used to configure the device.

Nokia Digital Pen SU-1B – Save 100 Pages of Text in a Pen

Have you tried tablet PC’s but found that writing on one isn’t so enjoyable? Do you like writing notes but wish there was a nice way to transfer them to a digital format? Well your problems are solved.

Nokia’s Digital Pen SU-1B (couldn’t their marketing come up with something better?) is an an ink pen that remembers what it writes. In fact its memory is so good it can remember up to 100 A5 sized pages. A5 is the typical size of American notebook paper used in schools.

The pen is compatible with both phones, via Bluetooth and PC’s, via USB. To use the pen with a phone it must be “paired” to that phone. Once this is done you can send text to your phone.

Yahoo! Mail and Messenger Now on Nokia Phones

Nokia 6300Mobile phone giant Nokia and Yahoo! announced today that they will be expanding their partnership to include Yahoo! branded internet services including Yahoo! Mail and Yahoo! Messenger on Nokia mobile devices.

The services will be made available on Nokia phones running Nokia’s Series 40 platform. Series 40 is the software system that powers many of Nokia’s mobile devices. With Series 40, users are able to access a broad range of applications and features, including messaging, browsing, music and video standards as well as personal information management.

Yahoo! internet services will initially be available on the new Nokia 6300 (pictured), the Nokia 5300 XpressMusic and the Nokia 5200. These services and the ability to synchronize Yahoo! contacts, tasks and calendar on the PC and phone will eventually be added to an even wider range of Nokia’s Series 40 devices.
