Nokia today announced it is releasing an American-optimized version of its popular N95 multimedia computer. This new model will price at around $700 and should be available in September.

The American version of the Nokia N95 gains North American 3G compatibility. In addition also added are product upgrades like assisted GPS (A-GPS) for faster navigational fixes, 124MB of RAM memory to go along with included 1 GB microSD memory card and the 160MB internal memory and longer battery life.
