Nike unveils the new Nike+ SportBand |
Nike has unveiled their latest Nike+ SportBand, a watch-like device for athletes that displays their vital information and includes calories burned, distance, pace and time. The SportBand features a white background screen to help the numbers stand out and a seal to improve water resistance.
They are available in grey with pink, dark with yellow and black with red and you can get them on July 15th for $59 a pop. You’ll have all of your stats right there with you at all times.


The Tour de France is currently underway and Lance Armstrong is apparently returning to help promote his Livestrong campaign and raise cancer awareness. So Livestrong and Nike have teamed up to create the Chalkbot, a robotic chalk painter that will print messages along the path of the Tour de France.

Nike is developing a pair of glasses for bike riding that could very well save your life. The glasses will extend your peripheral vision so that you are able to see objects behind you. The Nike Hindsight glasses have a special lens on the sides that allows for a field of view greater than the human limit of 180º. It will give you an extra 25º of viewing on both sides, making you see things like some bugs no doubt see the world.
