It’s a mash-up of the classic and movie versions of the ship. It’s pretty sweet looking. JJ Abrams was struck by that scene in ST: The Motion Picture where Kirk takes a shuttlecraft to the ship and we get a nice long look that shows us all of the stunning detail, including many of the individual tiles that make up the hull. Apparently there will be a similar scene in the new flick. What do you guys think? You like?

I feel like I’ve just been slimed with this item. Call me a dork, but the Ghostbusters movie is a classic. And I can’t think of anything better then getting the movie pre-loaded on a flash drive from PNY.

The drive offers 2GB of storage capacity. The only question I have is in regards to the format of the movie file. The 2GB drive is able to store 12 hours of video, 33 hours of music, or 1,080 pictures. No pricing info yet. Apparently this is the first time a full-length movie has been released via a USB flash drive. Why Ghostbusters? Why not!

You might have noticed that the Clone Wars movie got some pretty bad reviews. So it’s not really a surprise that they’ve been pushing all kinds of Clone Wars merchandise in an attempt to make some extra money so George Lucas can get that new flannel shirt he’s had his eye on.

This is the ISpeaker. It uses a flat panel speaker and is compatible with iPod, iPhone and other MP3 players. It features Captain Rex from the Clone Wars and seems almost as lame as the movie. Small kids might like it, but your average Star Wars geek will probaly want to pass. It’s powered by 4 AAA batteries. The Clone Wars iSpeaker is available for $19. The lightsaber stylus for the DS is only $7.99 and a lot cooler.

Check out this spoof of The Shining with Tribot as Danny and 2 Femisapiens as the twin girls. It’s great for a hearty geek laugh. After seeing this mini movie, I firmly believe that we should be re-creating all sorts of classic movies with robots. All the time. Toy robots. Go on, you know you want to click it.

Sony just announced that Playstation Network users will now have the ability to rent and buy movies and TV shows. They aren’t wasting any time either. The service gets switched on TONIGHT. And it’s more then just bland Sony content, with content from Fox, MGM, Lions Gate, Warner, Disney, Paramount, Turner, and Funimation. TV pricing starts at $1.99, while movies will cost $9.99 - $14.99, with rentals costing $2.99 - $5.99. The videos can even be downloaded to your PS3 and watched on multiple PSPs. Video is available in both SD and HD. Pretty nice!

Wall-E is adorable. Your Gamecube console is gathering dust. That’s right. Combine the two for one of the cutest and most adorable mods mankind has ever seen. There’s not much info on this mod, but the modder did a great job.

Wall-E looks appropriately sad. Probably because everyone has moved on to the Wii. Which brings me to my next point. Wall-E needs an Eve and I think it would only be fair to make her from a Wii. Very nicely done. It could only be better if he crawled around.

Domino’s being the clever marketing whores that they are, are now braving crime-ridden streets and delivering to Gotham city. They even have a New Gotham City Pizza that comes in a special Gotham City Pizza Box, and is available for $9.99 through July 27. The special delivery box comes in four varieties that show off different parts of the Dark Knight’s costume: mask, arm gauntlets, chest emblem, and utility belt. The pizza itself has 50% more pepperoni than usual. Check out a video below of a delivery in action.

Wall-E opens today and one reason for Wall-E mania is that he’s just so darn cute. Which is why this item, even though it’s likely craptastic, is worth getting. I mean you can’t have too many Wall-Es in your home right?

Humans can’t seem to get enough of Aliens. The kind Ripley kills, not the grey ones that come at night and abduct you. Recently, we showed you some Aliens furniture.

Now some dude in Russia is taking the phenomenon mobile with this Alien car. The creator did a great job. It looks like it’s just bursting out of the grill. I love how the hands grip the headlights too. Nice touch. Next step, Ripley hunting for some payback.

I always knew that the crystal skulls were powerful, but I had no idea that they were projectors. Actually. this far inferior replica looks like it had stitches and has had it’s skull elongated in back. Looks like lucite. Not nearly as attractive as the skulls Indy hunts for. But you have to do what you can when Indy merchandise is few and far between, compared to Star Wars merchandise.

Still, somebody in quality control should have put a stop to this cheesy thing. It comes with a set of slides featuring famous archaeological sites and scenes from the Indiana Jones films that can be projected on a wall when inserted into the Skull. You can pre-order it now for $39.99, and it’s expected to ship in October.

Target sure knows how to market themselves. Warner Brothers does too. The proof is in these awesome gift cards. Target’s Wii cards looked really cool, sure. But these Speed Racer themed cards feature a USB flash drive which makes them useful too. They include an integrated inch-long USB cable that’s flush in the card and is released via a mechanical switch on the bottom edge. The cards only hold about 62.8 MB, but the upside is that 51.6 MB of that is packed with awesome Speed Racer promotional materials. Stuff like a PDF coloring book featuring the Mach 5 and other vehicles, coupons for Speed Racer toys, wallpaper, videos and even a cheat code for the Wii Speed Racer game.

The cards are obviously a team-up between Target and Warner Brothers, to promote the new Speed Racer movie. It’s a pretty smart idea. I’m not sure if you are required to actually put any money on them or not.
