iPad and speakers get mounted on a bike

Posted in iPad by Conner Flynn on September 24th, 2010

Apple’s iPad can seemingly do anything and go anywhere. Now we have seen the tablet attached to a bike, along with speakers in front. We don’t have many details, but we do know that this guy will want to easily remove both iPad and speakers everytime he parks that bike.

That iPad cradle looks well made, but I still cringe about bumps and accidents killing the device. Anyway, it’s a cool setup. We like it.

100-inch screen mounted flush in the ceilingMost kids have a 14 to 20 something inch TV in their room. This kid has a 98-inch screen installed in his ceiling. And we, like you, are jealous. Patti Deni (Our candidate for mom of the year) had it installed for her son. At it’s heart the setup is an NEC projector along with some Draper projection mirrors, which fills that huge StarGlas60 display with full HD images than can be viewed from almost any angle.

This install couldn’t have been easy. Word is they had to reframe and reinforce the ceiling to do it. Now that’s an awesome mom.

Robot hunting trophy
You don’t have to wait for the robot uprising in order to mount a robot head on your wall. Not any longer. Though I have had several plain wood plaques already hung and ready near my shotgun. That way, when the day comes, I can just start taking heads and I will build a reputation throughout the wasteland. They will know that this human is not to be messed with. There are 11 different robotic animals like the one shown. Each robot has its own internal program which reacts with the outside environment thanks to its infrared sensor that makes the robots come to life and become aggressive towards anyone who comes near.
